Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath.

A reader posted this message to his mailing list.

I have tried to study the "appointed times" in relation to the "feast days" to know the season which we may shortly be in, and perhaps are already in without noting it. I know there are many of us concerned with the present happenings of events over the past several years and presently the Tsunami destruction in the Indian Ocean. Signs of the times are certainly pointing to something to happen which draws my attention, and several has pointed me to the Spring of this year to start counting down the timelines in Daniel 12. I have always been convinced that the 42 months of Rev. 13:5 is yet future and is the alloted time that will be given to the 'beast power" to reign his last control of those that receive his mark while persecuting those that receive the seal of God in their forehead and right hand. My son stumbled across the following quote and I want to pass it on for help in mu understanding of what it says. I will also pass along what is said in 1SM, p. 57. If any of you have time please give me your imput I want to learn more.

The reader also posted a quote from Selected Messages Book 1, Chapter 23, Beware of Any Time Setting.

-----

I read in Revelation 11:2 of forty-two months. I read in 12:6 of a thousand two hundred and threescore days which is also forty-two months. I read in Revelation 13:5 of forty-two months. Each of these chapters repeats the same history from a different perspective.

This is the same history found in Daniel 7:25 with the time and times and the dividing of time. And again in 12:7 with a time, times, and an half which is 3.5 prophetic years.

I do not see any scriptural evidence of the expectation of a literal 3.5 years of tribulation from any of these verses. Maybe I am missing something?

In regards to the quotes from Ellen, my understanding is that the dates of the end of time are never to be a part of the "message" that is taught. It is however appropriate for personal study and discussion. In the end of time these things will become clearer but in truth, we will never be certain until we see the final unmistakable signs. We are to know when they are near. There is a danger that harmless speculation will be misused and misunderstood but that does not mean that speculation is wrong.

The sound advice of the scriptures is "Watch, and be ready".

My personal speculations have been published on my ministry website.

May you find peace in the name of Yahushua (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah the son of God.
