Dear Brothers and Sisters in

(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the twelfth day of the twelfth month. It is two weeks and three days until the beginning of God's New Year (March 20). It is four weeks and four days until the first Unleavened Sabbath (April 3). I have been enjoying The Discover Prophecy series that is showing on 3ABN every night, except Thursday, for the last few weeks. The strongly biblical basis of the presentation is refreshing. Lately I have been hearing so many presentations where there are many entertaining illustrations of a questionable nature used to such an extent that it comes dangerously close to overwhelming the biblical basis of the message. The presentation on the Mark of the Beast was particularly inspiring with a fresh, careful, teaching straight from the Bible. I was reminded by a reference to the forced worship described in Daniel chapter 3 that my understanding of Daniel has changed in recent years. I have not finished my chapter on "Understanding Daniel" and already I need to rewrite it. I stated that "Part of Daniel is a historical record and testimony." I now believe that all of Daniel is completely prophetic. The parts that appear to be only a historical record are also prophetic messages acted out by example in Daniel's life. The first chapter is a prophecy and witness that in the time of the end healthful purity in what we eat becomes absolutely critical in the life of a believer. The "Health Message" has always been a cornerstone of the Three Angels' Message. In this end time the degradation of the quality of food and the chemical soups used in food preparation make wise food choices critical. I have come to understand from my study of the statutes that genetic manipulation is forbidden by God. Leviticus 19:19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee. The common practice of simple genetic manipulation by hybrid techniques is clearly against God's law. Advanced genetic manipulation can reasonably be seen as even worse. The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat are all polluted. This pollution destroys the quality of life and reduces physical, mental, and spiritual function. If we add to it with drugs, even if it comes labelled as "medicine", it just gets worse. A diet absolutely free of animal products is the goal in these end times. I could go on about the eating of supposedly "clean" meat which is not properly slaughtered and contains blood and fat. This is mentioned even in the New Testament but routinely ignored. Act 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. Will your lifestyle choices and health be such that you will have a clear mind to understand and know God's truth in this end time? The third chapter is a prophecy and witness of the coming Mark of the Beast in forced worship to idols. In these modern times some of the idols are money, power, privilege, and position. Will you resist the temptation to bow down to the idols of this world? The fourth chapter is a prophecy and witness of the fall of the proud. Unfortunately, these can even be found in the church. I have often recognized the struggle I have with pride in my own life. The fifth chapter is a prophecy and witness of the feasting and indulgence of the pleasures of life in which many including God's people participate. These will be caught short with the sudden "handwriting on the wall" of impending judgment. Do the indulgences of this world have a hold on your life? The sixth chapter is a prophecy and witness of the betrayal, hardship and trial that will be faced by those who stand by the truth and their final rescue. Will you stand for the truth at the end of time? May we strive for peace and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-uh-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God. Shabbat Shalom,
