Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-uh-oo-uh) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray that this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the 29th day of the 12th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the year 6011 Anno Mundi.

It is 2 weeks and one day until the Spring Holy Days begin with Passover and the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month in the year 6012 Anno Mundi, which is the first Unleavened Bread Sabbath (Sunset on Saturday, March 22 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar).

The evening of the 21st day of the 1st month is the second Unleavened Bread Sabbath (Sunset on Friday, March 28 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). On this particular yearly Sabbath all those who keep the weekly Sabbath will be observing the yearly Sabbath in form, if not in spirit.

The evening of the 6th day of the 3rd month is Pentecost Sabbath (Sunset on Sunday, May 11 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). I pray that this may be the time for the special outpouring of the Holy Spirit in power and truth on the 144,000 to prepare the world for the final judgment.

I was discussing present truth in church a few weeks ago with a church member who seemed to be interested in the subject. They said they would look over the material I gave them. Normally I try very carefully not to pressure people. Last Sabbath I was passing by them so I thought I would inquire what they thought. I received the often heard observation that they didn't think it was a "salvational issue". Here is a letter I wrote in response.

_____

I don't think quickly so I didn't really have a response for what you said Sabbath. In a sense, I didn't plan to respond then or now. I am not trying to convince you of anything. As soon as you made it clear you were not interested, I was prepared to drop the subject completely. I was very glad to hear that you discussed our previous conversation with your husband.

I do not present this truth to anyone in the church who has not shown what appears to be a clear interest in this topic. I have been ordered, by a couple of the highest authorities in our local church and organization, not to speak openly of this subject. Because of your ardent interest in the sanctuary I thought you might welcome this information.

I would not have prepared this response, if you had not come to me later and said you were interested in participating in the next Yearly Sabbath ("feast") observance. If I understood you correctly.

I was surprised to hear you respond that you didn't think the "Law of Moses" was a salvational issue. You are absolutely correct. It is a relationship issue. Our salvation is not based on any works that we perform. In the same way the weekly Sabbath is not a salvation issue either because we will not be saved by keeping the Sabbath. Salvation comes, as clearly stated in the Bible, by believing in the Son of God, the Saviour of mankind. Believing in Him leads to a relationship with Him. He said:

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

I quoted Malachi 4 to see if you were aware that God has made it absolutely clear, in His own words and not just the writing of the prophet Malachi, that the Ten Commandments are not the only commandments. I believe that the prophecy of Malachi 4 is specifically to the last true church which is the only true church that has ever openly rejected part of God's law, the "Law of Moses".

I still do not have any interest in trying to convince you of this truth. If the knowledge that God has given additional guidance to us in our relationship with Him is questionable to you and does not fill your heart with joy, then I recommend that you cease reading this letter and discard it immediately.

If you still maintain an interest in this message, I offer some guidance from Ellen White beyond what God has already told us:

"In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon men in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law". (ST April 15, 1875) {1BC 1104.6} {RH, May 6, 1875 par. 10}

The yearly Sabbaths ("feasts") are only a part of the "Law of Moses". I do believe that they are the most significant part, just as the weekly Sabbath is the most significant part of the Ten Commandments.

I prefer to refer to the feasts as yearly Sabbaths. This makes them clearer to the current day believer. Leviticus 23 makes it clear that the weekly Sabbath is also one of God's feasts so the wording is appropriately interchangeable. Leviticus 23 also makes it clear that the primary observance of a yearly Sabbath is identical to the weekly Sabbath. There were some other ceremonies associated with the temple worship but these do not apply after temple worship was completed with the crucifixion.

The only difference with the yearly Sabbaths is their specific reminders, memorials, and prophetic meanings. We remember these things especially during the yearly Sabbaths just as we remember creation and the weekly Sabbaths other reminders, memorials, and prophetic meanings.

If you and your husband are interested in continuing an investigation of the prophetic message of Malachi 4 and the yearly Sabbaths, Cindy and I would be glad to meet with you for Bible Study and discussion of this topic. The ideal time for this would be Friday evening or Sabbath afternoon or a yearly Sabbath evening or a yearly Sabbath day, if you are not working. I would also be glad to correspond by email at Webmaster@FrankTClark.us through my website.

The next Holy Day/yearly Sabbath is the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month on God's Sacred Calendar which is the first Unleavened Bread Sabbath (Sunset on Saturday, March 22 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar).

With the love of God,

"There are glorious truths to come before the people of God. Privileges and duties which they do not even suspect to be in the Bible will be laid open before the followers of Christ. As they follow on in the path of humble obedience, doing God's will, they will know more and more of the oracles of God, and be established in right doctrines." {1888 333.1}

Revelation 3:17
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Are you interested in additional guidance from God for a deeper relationship with Him or do you have all you need?

I pray that we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-uh-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.

Shabbat Shalom,

Frank T. Clark
