Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-uh-oo-uh) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the 28th day of the 1st month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6013 Anno Mundi. It is 5 weeks and 1 day until Pentecost Sabbath begins with the evening of the 6th day of the 3rd month (Sunday, May 31 on the 2009 Gregorian calendar, beginning sunset on Saturday, May 30). This year those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination agree with my understanding of the Calendar. The apostate Jewish Calendar is two days earlier in the spring and one day in the fall. It is interesting to note this year the Catholic observance of Pentecost Sunday falls on the same day as the true Pentecost. This is because the date of Easter and Pentecost is an apostasy based on the date of Passover but moved to the next Sunday. When the time of Passover falls on a Friday evening as it did when Messiah was sacrificed, the date for Wave Sheaf and Pentecost will match the date for Easter and Pentecost. Even some who believe in the Law of Moses mistakenly believe Wave Sheaf is always on a Sunday after the weekly Sabbath instead of the day after the yearly Sabbath. This causes them to unknowingly add support to Easter because they think it is the day of Wave Sheaf. _____ My wife and I had a wonderful religious experience spending the week of the Unleavened Bread Sabbaths at Terra Bella, CA in fellowship with others who also believe in following all the Law of God including the part recorded by Moses. I hope you were able to find a like-minded group of believers to share the Spring Sabbaths. I was surprised to learn several exciting new concepts. One presenter spoke very convincingly how our ideas the sacrificial system ended at the cross are mistaken. It is true the animal sacrifices ceased at the cross, as Daniel clearly states. However, the blood of Messiah's sacrifice is still daily active as a remission for our sin. Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. There is also a future sacrifice where the wicked are the sacrifice when their own blood is shed and they are the burnt sacrifice for their sin. In the same way, the ceremonial law is not ended either. The ceremonies specified for the temple are still carried out by the Messiah in the heavenly temple instead of an earthly one. Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. I discussed with several people their experiences in finding the truth about the Law of Moses. Especially I talked with several people who also believed in the wearing of the tassels and their experiences. I was also delighted to observe a few women who were wearing the tassels. It was interesting to observe the various methods they used to incorporate the tassels into their clothing. When I inquired about their understanding I was given the universal response: "The Bible doesn't say it is just for men." I also had an interesting discussion with a presenter who believes very firmly, as I do, the wearing of a coat and tie is the same kind of adornment the Bible speaks against in women. The church has gone very soft on the wearing of jewelry and costly outward adornment which is observed more and more often in our churches. I assume you are aware of the ridiculous prices men often pay for dress coats, suits and ties. I Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; I Peter 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; I was highly impressed by the many varied ways the Holy Spirit called to these people to follow God more closely. I was also impressed to see more and more people show signs in many different ways of the powerful work going on right now which indicates the beginning of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Are you recognizing and responding to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in increasing power? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-uh-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
