Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 3rd day of the 6th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.

It is 4 weeks until the Fall Sabbaths begin with Trumpets Sabbath on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Friday, September 10th on the 2010 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Thursday, September 9th).

This year, those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination will be one month later than my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The dates on the Jewish Calendar are one day early in the spring and one day early in the fall.

About a year ago, I wrote a couple of newsletters on the topic of the identity of the Two Witnesses after hearing a presentation on the subject. You may wish to review the earlier presentations:

There has been another satellite presentation repeating the topic. It is so disappointing to hear the superficial identification of the Two Witnesses as the Old and New Testament. There were a couple of new ideas presented which triggered some research and resulted in some additional scriptural insights. Revelation links the symbolism of the two witnesses to the symbolism of two olive trees and two candlesticks.

Revelation 11:3-4
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Zechariah saw a vision of two olive trees and a candlestick. The oil, which symbolizes the Holy Spirit, flows from the olive trees to the candlestick where it gives light.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The Word of God is correctly given a general association with the Two Witnesses but there is a deeper understanding and application of more specific concepts.

The dual nature of the Holy Spirit is emphasized in Revelation while its unified spirit is emphasized in Zechariah. I have emphasized before the dual nature of doctrine and power in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit:

The identification of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as a power and light to the whole earth is seen in the Fourth Angel's Message.

Revelation 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

The two olive trees are cryptically identified as the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Zechariah 4:11-14
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

This leads to a significant parallel statement by the Saviour as He responded to a request for special recognition from two of His disciples.

Mark 10:40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

Earlier in the Gospels, we saw the record of the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Mark 9:4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

This pairing of Moses who symbolically represents the law and Elijah who symbolically represents testimony, prophecy, or teaching is seen often in the Bible.

Malachi 4:4-5
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Isaiah 8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

This pairing in a parable has some fascinating prophetic implications for our present time.

Luke 16:29-31
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

We can see the Saviour is also prophesying of His own resurrection, for He would rise from the dead and many still would not believe. This illustrates the dilemma of those who either will not hear the Law of Moses or they will not hear the prophets, or they won't hear the One about whom Moses and the prophets speak. You must follow and believe all.

James 2:9-10
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Are you ready to hear and follow the message of the Two Witnesses?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
