Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 10th day of the 6th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.

It is 3 weeks until the Fall Sabbaths begin with Trumpets Sabbath on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Friday, September 10th on the 2010 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Thursday, September 9th).

This year, those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination will be one month later than my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The dates on the Jewish Calendar are one day early in the spring and one day early in the fall.

The transcript of the first part of the presentation "Feast-keeping and the Final Crisis" (discussed 2010-08-06) is now available. I anticipate part two will be available next week.

A quick general response to the presentation was created by a newsletter reader:

http://totalrestitution.com/articles/Dupreez.html

I have received comments the tone of the response was a bit "caustic". I admit, I was uncomfortable with the tone of the response, but the response was correct. I think it is important for us to accept we are all individuals with different ideas and ways of handling situations. Remember a fellow named Peter? Beware of rejecting a message you may not like with the excuse it is from someone who's methods you may not like. Additionally, be careful of the danger of disliking people because you don't like their methods. God has created each of us with infinite variety and we need to respect our differences. We are not required to agree with them.

I have been told by several people how much they appreciated the claims and attempts by Ron du Preez and CA Murray to be gracious to those with whom they disagree. They did make a very good effort but it is very hard and tricky to be gracious when you disagree with someone. It is far too easy to step beyond disagreement to attack and criticism. Satan makes it this way to create dissension. These unintended attacks make it difficult for the responder to be gracious.

Let me give you an example I recognized immediately when I heard it. In this example there is an opinion stated which links an opponents view to something which is widely recognized as objectionable. Then the opponent and his view are condemned on the basis of the objectionable link created by the opinion. It is one thing to state an opinion creating a link to something objectionable but it is not gracious to go the extra step and force the conclusion, no matter how logical, the objectionable characteristic applies to the opponent.

Specifically, Ron states his belief the practice of the yearly Sabbaths (Sacred Seasons) cannot be separated from the sacrifices performed on those days. He claimed there was no instance of the yearly Sabbaths separate from sacrifices and the weekly Sabbath is described without any association with sacrifices. This claim is false but this is not the central problem. The idea of continuing animal sacrifices is clearly objectionable. They went beyond this to state an improper conclusion. The practice of the feasts is a denial of the sacrifice of our Saviour. Then they openly and explicitly transfer this objectionable idea to those with whom they disagree.

It is easy to congratulate yourself on how gracious you are to your opponent when you have excluded any response from your opponent. The subject is never fairly presented when you present only your view and your interpretation of your opponents view without any opportunity for a single dissenting word. You know good and well a fair presentation of the different viewpoint has not and will not be heard in the same forum.

I agree completely with the introduction given by CA on the nearness of our Saviour's return. Well said! I agree completely with the recognition of the serious final crisis facing the church as we near the end of time. I agree completely with the recognition of the yearly Sabbaths as key in the crisis. I believe it is more generally recognized as the importance of the Law of Moses, which is God's Law.

Unfortunately, there are only two sides. Either God's Law stands complete or it doesn't. Sincere people have studied carefully and come to two different conclusions. One group must be deceived, no matter how sincere. This is a very sobering thought.

II Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

It is only a semantic difference to say the sacrifices were abolished, or they were completed, or nailed to the cross, or whatever. However, to say the entire Law of Moses is or is not nailed to the cross is not semantics. Whether to obey God's command to observe the yearly Sabbaths cannot be described as a semantic difference. Only the most careful study by the chosen of God will avoid deception.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

It will take time to learn and understand. We must be patient and helpful to those who still struggle or have taken a different view. We must not be critical or judgmental. Trust in God, for He has promised you will find the truth.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The truth will prevail among the remnant. I put my faith and trust in God's Word.

Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Are you prepared for the final crisis?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
