Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 23rd day of the 2nd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.

The yearly Pentecost Sabbath is in 1 week and 5 days starting the evening of the 6th day of the 3rd month (Wednesday, June 8th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Tuesday, June 7th).

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with what my research, and many others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

"These are the times that try men's souls." An interesting quote written in 1776 at the start of the Revolutionary War from an article by Thomas Paine. This is even more true now than it has ever been. It is interesting to note the religious overtones.

We are facing major end-time events. The world is in turmoil. Disasters and catastrophes are occurring all around us in increasing numbers. Political upheaval is worldwide. Dissension and conflict in the church and among believers is increasing at an alarming rate. There will soon be a reformation in the church which will wrench the entire belief system and cause a shaking within the church.

This is all foretold by prophecy. God is not caught unaware! There is no need for fear or concern. Trust in God. How are we to handle the changes and conflicts which are happening around us?

When we are confronted by conflicting ideas and limits in our own current understanding of truth, we need to hold fast to our existing foundations of belief.

6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
Job 27:6
While we hold fast, we need to do what we can to diligently study and seek instruction to learn more of what is truth.
13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
Proverbs 4:13
We may be confronted with additional truth by the work of the Holy Spirit. We may also be confronted by another spirit. We must be open to the Holy Spirit but we must carefully test new or deeper truth according to God's Word.
19 Quench not the Spirit.
20 Despise not prophesyings.
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
I Thessalonians 5:19-21
Cling with care to what we have been taught.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
II Thessalonians 2:15
Do not be easily swayed by every passing new idea.
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Ephesians 4:14
13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
II Timothy 1:13
We are led in these end times by our Saviour and great High Priest.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
Hebrews 4:14
He is faithful to us and we will be faithful to him.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:23
The command to hold fast is repeated by our Saviour to three of the seven churches.

Thyatira

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Revelation 2:25

Sardis

3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Revelation 3:3

Philadelphia

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Revelation 3:11
Seven times the word patience is used in Revelation. Patient perseverance will be rewarded. Do not be discouraged by new ideas you may learn. It is particularly easy to be discouraged by disagreements. Hold fast to what you know while you study to learn more and do not change until you are certain of the truth.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 14:12

Trust in God. He will guide us through the turmoil.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Colossians 1:21-23

Do you hold fast to diligently sought truth?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of Iaushua (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
