Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 17th day of the 11th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6015 Anno Mundi.

It is 8 weeks and 1 day until the new year begins with the Spring yearly Sabbaths. The first Unleavened Bread yearly Sabbath begins as always the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Sabbath, April 7th on the 2012 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Friday, April 6th). This year the day of the week will be the same as it was in the year IAUShUO was crucified on Golgotha.

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with the dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
Ezekiel 9:4-6
I received an email forward with comments on an email forward with comments on an email... You know what that is like. My heart was deeply troubled with the things I read.

The bulk of the email was purported to be a letter to Ted Wilson condemning the actions of the denomination in promoting "Spiritual Formation" along with other issues. The words of the letter slanted a few facts and contained a clear bias to certain cherished issues. A spirit of harsh self-righteous criticism was clearly discernible. One comment went further to condemn the denomination as an evil which must be abandoned. Another comment lamented a recent disfellowship of a group who were trying to stand for the truth.

I received another email which apologized for a different forward which was false and had not been carefully researched before forwarding. I have faced this problem myself and you probably have also. This is getting to be quite a general problem with false, partial, or misleading information being accepted as true and forwarded so easily. It seems like deception in these end times is reaching previously unknown proportions.

As I was pondering for several days the issues raised by the email to Ted Wilson, I saw a remark in an online discussion group about other issues in the Adventist denomination.

Lynda Karr • Makes a lot of people wonder about the validity of the claim "Remnant Church" when its leaders kill their wounded without remorse . . . referring to basically forcing a member to leave by causing his loss of faith in this supposed Remnant Church, which caused him to decide leave. Someday all members will awake to the knowledge that not the mis-run "church organization" but rather the body of believers is the "Remnant Church".

Frank T. Clark • Lynda, Your comment raises a very large issue which has major repercussions. I face this same issue daily on many serious but often unrelated topics where people question the validity of the denominational claim to be the "Remnant Church". I agree with the idea you mention the highest ideal of the "Remnant Church" is a body of believers and not an organization. Thank you for your comment. I will continue my comment based on general issues and not specifically about what you have said for I am sure you could have added much more detail and nuance.

This general discussion indicates and many others have addressed the clear need for reform in the denomination before we can truly have a revival which we expect to lead us directly into the closing of the reign of sin and our rest in heaven for a thousand years before returning to a new earth.

I agree with Dan Jackson there is a reason for the problems we see. God clearly indicates through His Word and by His example of the leading of the children of Israel the importance of an organization. The Bible records how often the organization was flawed and wayward but it was still God's chosen method of working with His people.

EGW speaks often how we must "remain with the ship". She condemns those who try to label the denomination as "Babylon". I am a committed member of the SDA denomination as those who are trying to follow Truth as close as possible. The time may come when the denomination will throw me out for failing to conform to leadership and popular opinion but I will never give up and leave. I will speak the truth in love and concern knowing that God is in control. I find it very important to be careful in how we criticize and condemn.

I could provide many guiding Bible verses and EGW quotes but this is not the forum for a Bible study. I will address this issue in detail in an upcoming ministry newsletter which had already been planned and in process. The discussion in this group has clearly been an indication from God of the need. www.iaua.name

There is so much to say on this subject, I hardly know where to begin. I have spoken before about Misdirected obsession in 2004-12-17, Forgiveness - Healing in 2005-04-15, Christian Unity in 2005-06-17, Stay With The Ship in 2008-02-01, and Babylon in 2009-07-24 just to name a few. This is also a continuation of last week's newsletter and many others about Unity in Truth.

There is great danger in calling the Seventh-day Adventist denomination Babylon or denying it is the "Remnant Church". This problem dates back to at least 1893 and resulted in an entire series of articles by EGW in the Review and Herald beginning August 22, 1893 titled "The Remnant Church Not Babylon".

There is also an entire chapter (7) on the subject in Selected Messages Book 2 titled "The Divine Credentials".

Again I say, The Lord hath not spoken by any messenger who calls the church that keeps the commandments of God, Babylon. True, there are tares with the wheat; but Christ said He would send His angels to first gather the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into the garner. I know that the Lord loves His church. It is not to be disorganized or broken up into independent atoms. There is not the least consistency in this; there is not the least evidence that such a thing will be. Those who shall heed this false message and try to leaven others will be deceived and prepared to receive advanced delusions, and they will come to nought. {2SM 68.3}

The denomination has its failures, needed reforms, and the need to advance with new light. I firmly believe, as long as the denomination continues to champion the weekly Sabbath, it is not aligned with Babylon. I will encourage all who will listen to grow into deeper truth and I will resist the temptation to inappropriately criticise or condemn the denomination. I will sigh and cry for the abominations done within the denomination and I will sigh and cry for those who will tear it down. I believe there are only two choices.

Do you desire to work with the denomination or against it?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
