The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 7th day of the 1st month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6015 Anno Mundi.

It is 1 week and 1 day until the Sacred New Year begins with the first Unleavened Bread yearly Sabbath the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Sabbath, April 7th on the 2012 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Friday, April 6th). This year the day of the week will be the same as it was in the year IAUShUO was crucified on Golgotha.

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with the dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

Another interesting discussion on the nature of the Godhead from the LinkedIn website group now called "E-ventists Network".

Chin-Lee Chan • I need help to identify who is Yahweh as in World English Bible Exodus 20:2 "I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage...." ?

Is Yahweh God the Father, God the Son, or God the Holy Spirit?

Rusty Chace • In the first place, I wonder why this is an issue for you? To answer your question, John 8:58 (KJV) "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." Exodus 3:13-15 (KJV) 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

I think this is very clear without need for further explanation.

Frank T. Clark • The question is legitimate but I thought the answer was well known. Our Saviour made several comments which seem clear to me indicating He was the active power and the interface between the Father and man. Some Bible texts which come immediately to mind:

Mat 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

We also have guidance from EGW. The one quote I remember off the top of my head is:

"In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon man in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law." {RH, May 6, 1875 par. 10}

I am sure others could provide many more texts and quotes. Perhaps I do not understand the intent of you question. By the way, the name of God is a family name which applies equally to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, if you are trying to make some issue out of the sacred name, whatever you believe the name to be.

Dave Clark • My study of God's Word tells me that we do not know either the name of the Father or the name of the Holy Spirit -- we only know the names for the Son. The closest thing we have for a name for the Father is "The Ancient of Days" and this is more of a description than a name. However, names in the Old Testement were actually descriptions (or the role) of the people to whom those names were given. I'm sure I don't need to elaborate on that.

As for the names for the Son: I see the Bible naming Him Yehowah (YHWH, Yahweh, or Jehovah) in His Judge-Lawgiver role; Miyka'el (Michael) in His Warrior-King role; and, Yehoshua' (Yashua' or the pagan name "Jesus") in His Saviour-Priest role. After all, Who is it that saves you? It is Yehoshua' -- which means: Yehowah Saves. Thus, who is it that *really* saves you? It is Yehowah and the following Bible verses are a confirmation of that fact.

"And it shall be said in that day, 'Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.'" (Isaiah 25:9)

"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us." (Isaiah 33:22)

Seems like there is another verse in the Old Testament where God says something like "I am the God who saves and there is no other." But, I can't find it right now. ;-)

God bless.

Chin-Lee Chan • Rusty, thank you for your help. To your understanding, Yahweh in Exodus 20:2 was God the Son who incarnated to be Jesus Christ.

Frank, thank you for your help. You agree with Rusty. However, because it is a family name, so Yahweh in other part of the Bible could refer to God the Father or God the Holy Spirit.

Dave, thank you for your help. You agree with Rusty.

Dave, are you looking for "Tell and bring forth your case; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? who has told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no other God besides me; a just God and a Savior; there is none besides me." Isaiah 45:21?

Frank, will you provide an example of Yahweh applies to God the Father and an example to God the Holy Spirit?

Rusty, I need help because I think God the Father was God in Exodus 20:1, if Yahweh your God in Exodus 20:2 is God the Son and God in Exodus 20:1 said I was Yahweh your God, then I have a contradicting understanding.

For reference, Exodus 20:1-2

"1And God spake all these words, saying, 2I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage."

Candy Watkins • I’m very appreciative of this discussion because I admit I need more understanding on this subject. In the book of Exodus, I believe the first chapter begins, "In the beginning God created the heavens and earth............ " I always thought that this was referring to God the Creator, God the Son, Jesus ( the Word) , God the Holy Spirit doing the creating.

Also,, in the book of John 1, states " In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God",....... allows one to believe that God the Creator and the Word (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit are the same. They are three entities, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - Three God heads in one.

I have a question for Brother Dave Clark • regarding his study. You stated you found in the Word, which states we do not know either the name of the Father or the name of the Holy Spirit -- we only know the names for the Son. Are you saying that the names provided in the scriptures are the name for God the Son, not God the Creator. May I I have the scripture or scriptures where you found this informaton?

Thank you!

God Bless!

Please someone explain!

Frank T. Clark • We can believe anything we want from our study of God's Word but the question is whether you can provide evidence of the truth. It is true evidence is rarely irrefutable for God in His wisdom has always left room for doubt of those who refuse to believe. It is particularly difficult to get very deeply into understanding of the Bible when you only use a translation. It is necessary for the deep student to have some understanding and study of the original Hebrew.

The first evidence for the family name of IAUA (Yahweh is only a partial reconstruction of the original Biblical Hebrew). Let's start with Genesis 1:1.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Substituting the actual Hebrew word for God:

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning ELAIM created the heaven and the earth.

The English translation of ELAIM to the word God implies singular but the Hebrew word is definitely plural. Most know this from many presentations on the subject. Therefore a potentially more useful word would be Godhead which shows the active participation of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit even though the primary agent was the Son as evidenced by other Scripture already given and the witness of EGW.

In Genesis 2:4, which based on content probably should be considered the beginning of the second "chapter", we see the introduction of the family name.

Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Substituting the actual Hebrew words:

Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that IAUA ELAIM made the earth and the heavens,

The phrase IAUA ELAIM or IAUA Godhead appears repeatedly in this chapter and often in the rest of the Original Testament. This illustrates the unity in purpose of the Godhead and the family name designation of the Godhead. Others may choose a different interpretation.

Whenever the name IAUA appears it refers specifically to the Saviour but the absolute unity of the Godhead is represented and always explicit.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

You may refer to http://www.sacredname.info for detailed evidence, from the Bible, of the Sacred Name IAUA. I did not wish to make this discussion such a deep plunge into the study of the Bible but it became somewhat unavoidable based on contradiction and question.

Does your mind fill with questions triggered by a deep study of the Bible?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
