Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 17th day of the 1st month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi.

The second yearly Sabbath of Unleavened Bread is in 3 days on the evening of the 21st day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 2nd on the 2013, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Monday, April 1st).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) will be observing the Spring Holy Days a month later and the Jewish Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is a day early in spring.

I have begun writing this newsletter on Wednesday, as I observe God's Holy Day, the 15th day of the first month of God's Sacred Calendar, the Sacred New Year's Day.

You may be surprised to see a major change in the presentation of the newsletter. I have decided to return to using plain text for the newsletter.

This change is prompted by my recent meditations on the importance of the principle "Keep It Simple" or KIS. I have deliberately applied this principle to everything I do since I was a child. I saw so much confusion and complication, which caused difficulty. I decided even as a child to just keep it simple. I believe this principle is valuable and important even to the study and presentation of God's Truth.

Now, please understand that simple does not need to mean simplistic. There is much detail and complexity which is unavoidable in life and in following God's Truth. The purpose of the principle is to guide us to avoid adding more complexity than is needed. The excessive complexities we add to the truth of life is the playground (or killing fields) of the devil. Through these methods he obscures and hides God's Truth.

Satan confuses, misleads, and destroys people with all the excess nonsense he adds to life to create clutter. I see this clutter in many pleasing forms. The excess use of full color dramatic pictures which adorns every presentation of any type is a trap. A certain amount is appropriate to add beauty to life.

In God's creation we see an incredible tapestry of colors and beauty. We do not need to compete or distract from what God has done. We can create our own expressions of beauty in following His example. However, when speaking of God's truth it is not necessary to use flowery speech or excessively dramatic packaging. The world does this in every form of its communication lead by the monstrous beast of advertising.

The Internet is the prime example of advertising gone crazy. You can't go to a simple news website without being overwhelmed and assaulted by advertising. Do I even need to point out the invasive and obtrusive tactics that are used to SELL! SELL! SELL!? I see the same methods even on religious websites. We must be careful to avoid the trap of using the world's methods to promote God's Truth.

The root motivation for these actions is primarily greed and secondarily selfishness manifested as the ideas of "look at me", "I am important", and "pay attention to me". The dangers of the love of money and selfishness are clearly described in the Bible.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
I Timothy 6:10
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Genesis 3:6

Now, don't be tempted to think I am encouraging any kind of fanatical extreme. I have spoken before of the importance and value of following a moderate, middle ground. The world shows the extreme of display we need to avoid but we must also avoid an opposite extreme of a rigid austerity and a rigid adherence to the plainest of presentations. A middle ground is hard to find.

In the world of the Internet we are under attack by people striving to gain control of our attention and our computers. This is the reason I stick to simpler methods for presentation on my website and in this newsletter. Let the beauty of God's Truth shine for all to see without attempting human embellishment.

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
I John 2:15-17

Are you trying to "Keep It Simple", to "Let go and let God"?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
