Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 7th day of the 7th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi.

The fall Holy Day season continues in 3 days with Atonement Sabbath on the evening of the 10th day of the 7th month (Monday, September 16th on the 2013, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Sunday, September 15th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is two days early in the fall this year.

Twice a year, almost every year that I have been writing my newsletter, there has been a flareup of disagreements about determining the dates of God's Sacred Calendar on the Gregorian Calendar. The minor exception was the years 2011 and 2012, when amazingly the dates of the three major attempts to follow God's Sacred Calendar agreed. The exception was the Karaites who have no predictable or reasonable explanation for their dates other than they claim it is based on actual visual observation in Jerusalem. Since this is purely subjective, it cannot be denied or logically explained.

Fall Feasts Announcement.

Yom Terrurah begins tonight, Sabbath evening, September 7, 2013. Yom Terrurah Tov. (Have a Good Feast of Trumpets.)

Yom Kippur begins Monday night, September 16. All day, Tuesday, September 17.

The Feast of Tabernacles begins Sabbath evening, September 21st and runs through Sunday evening, September 29th. The first and last days of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) are "shabbaton", meaning "you shall do no servile work." They are "Holy Convocation" days. What this means is that tents or sukkots cannot be put up during the Sabbath hours of September 21st. They will have to be put up on Friday afternoon, September 20th.

9 pm Friday-- 3 % moon--back to the drawing board(lol)

Friday night, Sept. 6, there is only supposed to be a 2% visibility of the crescent from the Chicago area.

My understanding is that you need 3% to be able to see the crescent. I think that I read once that 2.7% was about the earliest.

What this does is to still make Sabbath evening (end of Sabbath) to be the first visible sighting of the crescent moon. Thus, Sunday, September 8 will be Yom Terrurah.

I have been observing the sighted new moon from Jerusalem since 1989 or 1990. Persons, new to me or, new to feast observance, have been pressing for using the clock over our heads. The belief has been that, from Chicago, the new moon will be visible on Friday night (last night). I hold that it is not visible until tonight, Sabbath evening. Here is a response to my checking the visibility of the new moon from Chicago.

[begin response to G_G_]

Where did you get that there is to be 3% visibility in Chicago?

Here is my source: http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneDay.php Key in the 6th. 2% visibility.

9 pm on Friday is AFTER sunset and moonset! In Chicago, you will not see your 3%, the moon will have set. There is a very small chance that you might see the new moon in California, Friday night. Maybe with binoculars.

Looks like we will be the same as Israel's sighted moon.

Who is back to the drawing board? Who is laughing now?

Can you explain your reasoning for Today(Sabbath) being the Feast of Trumpets? We agree with you that today is the day but others are saying it is Sunday?? Help!!!

S_K_ copied me on an email about your discussion. I have seen a lot of very bitter controversy over this subject.

Sacred Calendar determination is such a tricky and sensitive subject. A short summary would not even begin to cover the detail and complications. I left you a copy of my book "God's Sacred Calendar" last year, which covers the subject in great detail. It is also available online:

http://www.sacredcalendar.info/

I carefully establish the guiding principles from the Bible and step by step establish the rules discovered from an intense study.

In essence, I have found the basic principles are pretty simple and straightforward. I have even written a computer program to create calendars when provided with the critical dates and times from astronomical observation. This is all described in great detail on the website.

I later wrote to G_G_:

Perhaps I should attempt a summary on the subject.

The Bible declares that astronomical observation is the basis for determining the MUODIM (appointed times). The sun and the moon provide the signals. Visual observation is a limited and error prone method but is acceptable with a lack of better data. The scientific precision available to us in modern civilization is a better source of data that will be used by all earnest seekers of truth.

Jerusalem is the reference point for the day from a world perspective. The world day begins at sunrise in Jerusalem, which is twelve hours in advance of the local day beginning in Jerusalem at sundown.

The beginning of the month is signaled by a solar eclipse or the exact time of the new moon when an eclipse would occur, if the earth, moon, and sun were aligned. The first world day after the new moon is the first day of the month.

The beginning of the year is signaled by the spring equinox. God's New Year's day is the first yearly Sabbath, a potential lunar eclipse, not the pagan choice of the first day of the month. The first 15th world day of the month after the spring equinox is God's New Year's day.

I hope this summary helps. I am eager to discuss any questions you may have. The book goes into greater detail with Bible references.

Hi Frank,

I've read your book on God's sacred Calendar . That is how I came to the conclusion that Trumpets was on the 7th. I used the Gregorian calendar to see when it said the new moon was. I guess I have a question tho on what is the new moon? I've learned there are dark days and then the moon starts to show in the sky. Is the moon the dark moon or the 1% moon or the 3% moon. We just talked to S_ and he has changed his mind again and said that Day of Atonement is this Sabbath. We had it figured as the 16th.

In your book p 130 you state God is the author of order. Help us figure out the order.

-- I read the emails you sent to G_ and I am also a little confused about using Jerusalem. I thought we should use the moon as it is over us.

thanks for you help

I wrote to B_G_:

Hi B_, It is sad there is so much confusion but God is indeed the author of order. However, His order is only seen by the deep student of the Bible who obeys His will. Then the Holy Spirit will reveal all truth. Eventually... One of the things He warns us about is depending on man and man's tradition.

Jewish tradition, the CRC, says Sabbath is the Day of Atonement. That is probably why S_ changed his mind.

The beginning of the month is signaled by the "new moon" (lunar conjunction). Therefore the month begins with the first "world day" after the new moon. God's Calendar applies equally to the whole world not just our location. Therefore, the signal is one that applies to the whole world and not just locally. This is one of the limitations of visual sighting. The lunar conjunction, which periodically results in a solar eclipse is a spectacular signal. This is why Jerusalem is important to establish a reference for the "world day". Even when we cannot see the moon, it is "new" after the eclipse.

I hope that helps. We are individually responsible to follow our best understanding of God's Word. It is sad that such a critical subject causes so much disagreement and dispute. I am certain God will honor the honest intent of those who follow the best understanding they know.

My studies indicate astronomical observation by trained scientists who develop calculations for advance determination based on those observations is the most reliable source for those signals specified by God.

Be at peace,

I hope and pray that what I say is Biblical, intuitive, understandable, and logical. This has been the goal of all my study and efforts.

Are you faithfully seeking to understand and follow God's Word?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
