Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 18th day of the 9th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Holy Day season begins the New Year in about five months with Passover on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 15th on the 2014, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Monday, April 14th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is the same in the spring this year.

I was discussing unity in the body of Christ with a new acquaintance. He was eager for my input on a project of his. What follows is an excerpt of our email communication.

Unification Project

Pastors:

The Lord has laid it on my heart over the last few years to talk to each and every one of you on the unification of the body of Christ. I know that there are many churches representing the city of West Frankfort, and probably just as many denominations. I know that not all churches get along with the next one and I know that there are some birthed out of dissention. In Jesus’ name I pray that we can set this aside and focus on Jesus’ goals of one body.

Right now I am at a stage of information gathering and am asking for cooperation from all. Please fill out the questionnaire and feel free to add to it as needed.

1) Are there any issues that your church needs prayer for? __ yes __ no.
2) Are there any issues that your congregation needs to forgive another congregation for? __ yes __ no.
3) Are there some in your congregation that push a separation from other churches? __ yes __ no.
4) Are there some in your congregation that you know would sabotage unifying with other churches? __ yes __ no.
5) Has your church ever been split? __ yes __ no.
6) Is your church the result of a split? __ yes __ no.
7) Is there a risk of split in your church that can be prayed for right now? __ yes __ no.
8) Would your congregation be considered? __ Oneness __ Trinity __ Other.
9) Does your congregation believe in the Gifts of the Spirit? __ yes __ no.
10) Does your congregation believe in the speaking of tongues? __ yes __ no.
11) Does your congregation believe that in order to go to heaven you must speak in tongues? __ yes __ no.
12) In baptizing believers which doctrine do you hold to? __ Baptism in the name of Jesus __ Baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?
13) Does your congregation support other ministries? __ yes __ no.
14) Does your congregation support gay marriage? __ yes __ no.
15) Does your congregation support abortion? __ yes __ no.
16) Would you be willing to pray for other churches in West Frankfort?  __ yes __ no.
17) Would you be willing to participate in unifying the body of Christ? __ yes __ no.
18) Would you be opposed to me observing a couple services in your church? __ yes __ no.

I want to thank each of you ahead of time for your help in this matter. May God bless you and keep you and your congregations safe. Please mail completed questionnaires to P.O. Box ____ West Frankfort, Il. 62896.

I responded:

XXX,

What do you mean by unification? Unification is a desirable but vague concept. What are the specific goals and expected results of this project? What will you do with the information you collect? Is this information kept private or anonymous?

I find question 8 to be particularly vague and confusing.

Question 18 is also curious. All churches (that I know about) welcome visitors to the church. Do you plan to speak out or spread some type of message?

The purpose of my questions is not only for my better understanding but because those you are approaching will have the same questions.

Be at peace,

Unification to me is one body of Christ. Not the 30 that we have in West Frankfort. As far as I know there are no churches that work together worship together or meet together outside of there church body. The upper room gave us the example that I strive for. The first order of business was bring the church leadership in unity. Once a replacement was made for Judas and the twelve were of one mind and one accord the Holy Spirit came. I want that here. The full manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The next outpouring, the greatest that has ever come. Here in West Frankfort.

I want to see 12 churches under the leadership of twelve GODLY men that are united together to bringing the Holy Spirit to this town. I want to see under them 12 leaders in each church. I want to see each church united all twelve in one mind and one accord. it is hard for a shepherd to unite with another flock if his flock is not united in this move. We must unite we must work together we must do so much more than what we are doing right now. Satan has divided us in denominations and unforgiveness we must take this ground back. This is not what Jesus wanted what we have today. It saddens me to see it. I want to help fix it.

The information I gather I will ask each person that I speak with if they would want it shared or held private. If I am allowed to share, it will be as God leads not a news letter for all to read. I do plan to keep my pastor informed on the progress I am making. Anonymity is perfectly fine if it is wanted. His unity is key to this endeavor as well as others. Anything I say is open and can be told to all. I am an open book.

In 18 I do not plan to speak out unless asked. I plan to view and see the unity and give insight to each pastor in private of what the Holy Spirit reveals to me. I do not come to undermine the shepherds God has placed over his sheep. On the contrary. I know that my calling is not to pastor. I come as a peace maker. With a vision from God. A vision that will only succeed as you know if it is from God. There is no other way this would work.

I hope that helps.

I responded later:

XXX,

I have been pondering your desire to work for the unification of churches. There is an ecumenical movement among Protestant groups since the 1800s, aimed at achieving universal Christian unity and church union through international interdenominational organizations that cooperate on matters of mutual concern. They have not achieved much unity after years of work. The result is essentially an appeal to the lowest common denominator instead of the high ideals of Biblical truth.

I don't see much hope for your goal. Our Savior only achieved this in a small hand-picked group (but one was lost) and only after working extensively for three and a half years preparing them for the Pentecost experience. The group grew but immediately Satan brought in more disputes and disagreements. Our Savior was not even able to achieve unity in Heaven requiring the expulsion of Satan and one third of the angels. The sin problem has been the struggle of the last six thousand years.

There will indeed be unity among those who are His closest followers, but a general unity of truth among all the churches will never happen. I am also seeking unity by looking for those who are indeed seeking the highest ideals of all Biblical truth no matter what church. The basis of truth is not human opinion but God's Word.

You must pursue the course that you feel God is leading you but if He does not expect to unite all then how can you?

Be at peace,

Whenever I discuss Present Truth, I encounter a resistance to even consider additional truth because it would disrupt the agreed beliefs and the "unity" of the denomination and its leaders. I am reminded of the words of our Savior.

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

If truth will separate families, then how can we expect to unify churches. The entire chapter is a powerful sermon to His disciples on sending them out to spread the gospel. Read it all carefully and prayerfully.

Are you willing to sacrifice an intense desire for truth in order to achieve unity?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
