Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 18th day of the 4th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6020 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths begin in 10 weeks and 1 day on the 1st day of the 7th month (Saturday, September 3rd of the 2016, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Friday, September 2nd).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month later this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is also a month later.

While pondering the struggles of life in myself and others, I was considering how the glory of God is hidden by the lies of the accuser. Many of the problems people experience are the result of their own choices. People will often blame God for the results of their own choices.

The most amazing thing God created was free will. This results from His nature as revealed to us from the Bible. We can choose to do anything we want to, including something that is hurtful to ourselves and others. Satan chose to envy God and the result was sin. First Eve, then Adam chose to doubt God and believe the lies of Satan. One simple act against God's guidance and instruction caused all the pain and suffering we now experience.

All sin is based on selfishness and traces back to the selfishness and vanity of the father of lies.

Isaiah 14:13-14
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

There is a lot of deep meanings and information hidden in those words.

God knew this would happen and planned the resolution of the contradiction before it even happened. Those who choose to follow His truth and guidance will live together forever in joy and happiness. They will never choose to hurt themselves or each other. Those who choose to follow their own selfishness will be destroyed forever as the result of their choice. They chose destruction against all God could do for them. He will release them forever to their choice of destruction.

The conundrum of free will reminds me of the silly question that is proposed by atheists and others who question God.

Can God make a rock so big He can't pick it up?

They don't see the simple logical contradiction of the question. Can something be true and not true at the same time? However, God did make something he can not change. God created free will because of His love. He did a wonderful thing. He cannot change. He can not and will not ever force us. He will do everything He can to help us to understand His Truth but we can always reject it.

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

God knows what we will do but we make the choice to do it. He does not normally tell us or anyone what we will become. We choose of our own free will. Nobody made you do it. Satan may have deceived and enticed you but you made the choice to follow selfishness instead of God.

We so easily deceive ourselves when we are faced with God's directions for our lives and we don't want to obey. We tell ourselves we don't have to do what He says and we believe it. This is the ultimate deception.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Consider these powerful words Moses spoke after he presented the Law as God dictated it to him.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Do you have a deep appreciation for the meaning and value of God's great gift of free will?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
