Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 6th day of the 12th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6020 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Sabbaths begin in nine weeks and four days on the 15th day of the 1st month (Wednesday, April 12th of the 2017, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Tuesday, April 11th).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is a day early.

Dear Frank

It seems to have been a long time since I read a newsletter from you. Please dont feel you are just repeating yourself. You are, but perhaps people need repetition. The discussion you sent is so typical of people on so many Bible subjects. A whole lot of superficial studyers of God's word feel they can tell everyone else "the results of their [superficial] research" and they dont want anyone to provide a more in-depth discussion on the errors of their position. They say you are just arguing when in fact you are trying to help these people open up their eyes and study more deeply so they will have the full truth. Some of the worst have rejected the whole truth of God saying parts of it have been done away with and then they make up their own ideas without the guidance of what God has already revealed to us.

This is the reason why I do not spend a lot of time viewing internet discussions on Bible truth. If only the people involved would be like Daniel and fast for 3 weeks when they dont understand what God is trying to reveal, or like John who wept when on one could be found to open the 7 seals, then we would have less heat and a great deal more light. I find the vast majority of people who are involved in such discussions are only playing with Bible truth and have not got that deep earnest commitment to God that alone will put them in a position where they can understand truth.

Recently I was studying and writing about the problem the writer of Hebrews had with his listeners. In the last 3 verses of Hebrews 5 and the first 3 verses of Hebrews 6 are comments that are very significant in this discussion. So many people spend so much time trying to grapple with the milk of the word that they come to a place where they no longer understand even the simplest of Bible truths. They have never eaten the solid food but feel they can take positions on truth.

Thank God He said that the Holy Spirit will lead us into ALL truth. May we be humble enough that He can do this, and rejoice in His love and desire to guide us in every way, reproducing His image in us.

I replied:

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it has been about three months. I have been inhibited not just by feelings of repetition but my attempts to do some sharing on Facebook. A tragic/comic endeavor. I was appalled and overwhelmed by all the shallow and repeated Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year greetings exchanged. Even religious/Adventist people post Bible/religious quotes like they are confetti.

I tried to make some serious posts that fell on mostly deaf ears. May I share some with you?

I am not intending to criticize the Thanksgiving tradition but in the interest of greater truth and in light of the soon following "Christmas season", consider these facts, which you can readily research for verification on the Internet. While it does not have the specific Catholic religious overtones of Christmas (and Easter), even Thanksgiving has deep Catholic and pagan roots as a harvest celebration. God's sacred holy day of Tabernacles is His time for thanksgiving, the original harvest celebration, and is also recognized by many as the actual day for the birth of our Savior.

_____

As we approach the wildly popular Christmas holiday, I encourage you to consider that God has actually specified His own holy days called holy convocations that most ignore in favor of the pagan/Babylonian/Catholic holidays. Even EGW gave counsel of guidance hinting that we should be considering them.

"Would it not be well for us to observe holidays unto God, when we could revive in our minds the memory of his dealing with us? Would it not be well to consider his past blessings, to remember the impressive warnings that have come home to our souls, so that we shall not forget God? ... Shall not the people of God more frequently have holy convocations in which to thank God for his rich blessings? ..." {SpTEd 80.1}

You can't build unless you lay a foundation. You can't lay a foundation unless you dig... The words of a popular song I was just listening to, "You know it don't come easy". Or to quote God:

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

_____

I rephrased a popular quote to something I felt was more appropriate to a Bible believer. I researched the original and was shocked at what I found. Can you believe that people are quoting words attributed to the devil?

QUOTATION: You see things; and you say “Why?” But I dream things that never were; and I say “Why not?”

ATTRIBUTION: GEORGE BERNARD SHAW (1856–1950), Back to Methuselah, act I, Selected Plays with Prefaces, vol. 2, p. 7 (1949). The serpent says these words to Eve. http://www.bartleby.com/73/465.html

Do you ever research? My version:

You see things as they are. You ask "Why". I study things that were, which tell me why. They will be again! In the beginning...

_____

It is sad that so few people are interested in a deep discussion or anything about truth. They can talk about their other interests but don't discuss the Bible.

_____

Are you interested in a deep discussion of Biblical truth?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
