Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 4th day of the 13th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6020 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Sabbaths begin in 5 weeks and 4 days on the 15th day of the 1st month (Wednesday, April 12th of the 2017, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Tuesday, April 11th).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is a day early.

Last weeks newsletter was a bit longer than my target. This one is shorter. Continuing discussion about Godhead.

Robin responded:

Dear Frank

Thank you for your good reply. Yes, I think you have the essence, except that the personality of the Holy Spirit is different from the personality of the Father and the Son. It is interesting that Ellen White never used the term Trinity ever, and I am not sure she fully understood what Godhead means.

Regarding the literal and physical presence, yes, you are right. I am talking about the fact that the Holy Spirit is never seen in a physical form as a person.

There are still things we cannot understand about the Holy Spirit and I take seriously the counsel that we should remember our finiteness when contemplating the infinite. We should never bring God down to a human level. So many heresies have started with doing this, even the Trinity doctrine.

I responded:

Dear Robin,

I have found that the precision of words is partly an illusion. Sometimes verbs can be nouns and nouns can be verbs and so on. Meanings shift and change. They are not always used precisely by anyone. :-)

Another response from Ron:

Frank,

I may not have effectively communicated the intent of my comment which you responded to by stating your concern. I was not saying that I agree with the non-Christian Jewish perspective on the nature of God. I do not subscribe to that view. I attempted to describe it only as a way of saying that the Ephesians 2 idea of Jew and Gentile worshipping together in the same "room," has not been true, in my opinion, almost since the time of the apostle, Paul. The Great Apostasy intervened.

The non-Christian Jews; 95% of all Jews in the world, have, because of what "Christians" have done in their supercessionism has led to the furthering of the distance between Jews and Christians. The Jews have, indeed, lost their way. They have "fallen from the Olive Tree, "Y'srael."

Adventism has the best opportuni6ty to correct this erroneous Jewish pathway. But, they would, if they intend a sense of redirection, would need to do some "redirecting" of their own. That seems far away at present unless you are aware of any new theological movement within the Seventh-day Adventist Church, such as I am not aware of currently.

I look forward to your reply.

Shabbat Shalom in Yeshua (at sundown tonight)

I responded:

My comment was only about your statement of :

"I keep thinking that, perhaps, Elohiym sort of set this whole thing; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to keep us guessing, discussing, conjecturing, etc. about Who He is."

God does not want to confuse us.

Jewish/Christian drift into separation/apostasy is simply a fact that I have no particular comment about. Adventists are currently trying to look like pagan/Christians with dismal results. All need to get back to following the Bible/ThURA!

Do you continue to discuss seeking understanding?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
