Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 25th day of the 13th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6020 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Sabbaths begin in 2 weeks and 4 days on the 15th day of the 1st month (Wednesday, April 12th of the 2017, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Tuesday, April 11th).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is a day early.

Frank,

The long and short of this is that the religious, ethnic Jews of today are a living, ongoing sample of the fact that Israelites did and do exist, which is proof positive that the "Thura" and it's stories and laws of life and salvation are, indeed, real. And, the religious Jews of today and long ago did preserve, in the oldest copies at least, the original Scriptures to which Jesus pointed His own Jewish people, and the Gentiles who were to be "grafted" into the "Olive Tree; Y'srael (through Y'shua.

Here is what EGW had to say about all this:

"The Gentile did not crowd the Jews from their original position. But, he became a partaker with them of their blessings."

Big difference between just ethnic Jews, and the "blessings" which God gave them.

In Matthew 23: 1-thru 3, Jesus really completed the separation between the Jews and what He knew He had given them. "Do not do as they (Jewish Scribes and Pharisees; "Rabbis), but DO as they say when they sit in Moses' bench (read the written Thura.) He looked at many of them as the hypocrits that they were.

Todays "Christians" are the ones who, in the earliest centures of the Judeo_Christian Church, by turning to their own religious observances and times, did so in response to those "Christ-killing Jews."

Thus, to try to get Christians to see where their earliest leaders had gone wrong, and then to try to see the need to return to the recorded religion of Jesus Christ, necessitates challenging them on their misuse of Scripture to buttress practicing the various times of the Saturnalia, and resulting beliefs, and a return to those of Jesus and the apostles.

Indeed, I also have enjoyed the great discussions, and can say that it has helped me immensely. I would agree with you that at least, there is, to me at least, some apparent room for perhaps Messianic Jewish Adventists to study where they are similar, and where they differ, much more so than they have previously seen possible. Your analysis of where Adventism, Christianity, and Judaism are, is profoundly true, and rather sad.

Question: When will they ever somehow put it all together?

Shalom,

Ron

I responded:

Ron,

They won't. God will, in His time, in His way. We need to stop sitting in our boxes and comparing with other boxes. We need to get out and find the God box and get in His box. As you have observed, we need to get back to ThURA. All the Truth and nothing but The Truth. He has specified, for over two thousand years, what needs to be done and when it will be done. Hint: Malachi 4:5 (Matthew 17:11, Acts 3:21)...

Be at peace,

"The Jews had departed from God, and in their teaching had substituted their own traditions for the divine law. The life and teachings of Christ made plain and distinct the principles of this violated law. The heavenly host understood that the object of his mission was to exalt the Father's law and make it honorable, and to justify its claims by paying with his own life the penalty of its transgression. It was thus that he made reconciliation between God and man. As the great blessings brought within the reach of the human race at the first advent of the Saviour were seen by the angelic visitors, they burst into the glad, triumphant anthem: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good-will toward men." {ST, August 25, 1887 par. 11}

"The middle wall of partition between the Jew and Gentile was broken down. They were no longer in separate rooms; the unbelieving Gentile has been united with the believing Jew. The Gentile did not crowd the Jews from their original position, but he became a partaker with them of their blessings." {ST, August 25, 1887 par. 12}

It is important and proper to identify with a specific belief community as commanded by God for holy convocation.

Leviticus 23:1-2 IAUA spoke to Moses and said, "Speak to the children of Israel and tell them about the holy days of IAUA, which you will proclaim to be holy convocations. All these are my holy days."

However, we must be careful that our beliefs, interests, and conversation are shaped and guided only by the Bible and not by our community. When our understanding of Biblical beliefs differs from the community we need to consider carefully when we discuss and avoid disruption and conflict. God will guide His true believers to all truth, in His time, in His way. Prepare, watch, and wait.

Have you found a satisfactory community for holy convocation?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
