Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 2 of month 11 of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6021 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Sabbaths begin in 10 weeks and three days with God's New Year's Day, Unleavened Bread Sabbath, day 15 of month 1 (Monday, April 2 of the 2018, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Sunday, April 1).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late next year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will be two days early in spring and one day early in fall.

I was reading the Word and pondering the many meanings of the words. I was reminded by the words (Psalms 44) of the exclusive attitudes of Judaism and many Jewish people. They confuse the meaning of being God's chosen people. They often exhibit a sense of entitlement because of their genealogy, their traditions, their denomination, or their set of beliefs they agree on. They do not understand that God's chosen people are those who do what He says.

It does not matter who your forefathers were. It does not matter what traditions you practice or your denominational affiliation. Do you actually do all God says? Do you actually love God?

Joshua 22:5 Take diligent attention to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of IAUA commanded you. Love IAUA your God. Walk in all his ways. Keep his commandments. Cling to him and serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

The next step was obvious to me and maybe to you. Many Christians wear the name like a hat they can put on or take off as they choose. They often exhibit a sense of entitlement because of their self-proclaimed title, their denomination, or their set of beliefs they agree on. They do not understand that God's chosen people are those who do what He says.

John 15:10 If you keep my commandments, you will continue in my love. Even as I have kept my Father's commandments and continue in his love.

You can claim you have all the truth. Do you honestly practice all of it? Do you tell yourself and others that part of what God says does not apply any more? Do you have all kinds of excuses why you do not do what God says?

God does not change.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man that He should lie [or change His truth]. Nor a son of man that He should repent [or change]. Has He said and He will not do it? Has He spoken and He will not make it good?

Malachi 3:6-7 "Because I am IAUA, I do not change! Therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers you have turned away from my ordinances and have not kept them. Return to me and I will return to you.", says Commander IAUA. But you say, "Where shall we return?"

The principle is repeated in the Renewed Testament.

James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of light. With Him there is no change or hint of change.

His Word does not change and He does not allow it to be changed.

Deuteronomy 4:2 You shall not add to the word, which I command you. You shall not take anything away from it. You must keep the commandments of IAUA your God, which I command you.

The principle is repeated in the Renewed Testament.

Revelation 22:18-19 I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If any man will add to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book. If any man will take away from the words of the prophecy of this book. God will take away his part out of the book of life, out of the holy city, and the things which are written in this book.

Finally, some may feel it is too difficult to just trust God and do what God says. Their fears and concerns about this sinful world just overwhelm them. Their temptations and struggles are too much to bear. Consider what Job endured and these words of promise and guidance.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation [or struggle] has come to you but that as is common to man. God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted [or struggle] beyond what you are able. With the temptation [or struggle] He will also provide a way of escape [or comfort], so that you will be able to endure it.

Do you feel entitlement or do you practice obedience to all God says?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
