Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 2 of month 3 of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6022 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Sabbaths finish with Pentecost in four days, day 6 of month 3 (Tuesday, May 22of the 2018, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Monday, May 21).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2018 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will be two days early in spring and one day early in fall.

I was pondering the approaching end of the Spring Sabbaths while considering the end time symbolisms. I have been examining a book called "The Time of the End" by James Hayward. I have also been pondering the limitations of this quarter's Sabbath School lesson quarterly titled "Preparing for the End Time" because of the blinders of standard Adventist doctrine.

When you reject the importance of God's yearly Sabbaths and refuse to follow God's command to observe a rest and convocation on these days as well as the weekly Sabbath, you have cut yourself off from a deeper understanding of God's Word. This is particularly true for the end of time.

"In like manner, the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service... {GC88 399.3}

You will probably not find this quote of EGW in Hayward's book on the time of the end. How many could even identify what these types and times are?

I also noticed this statement while skimming through the quarterly: "In the Old Testament there were two outward identifiers of God's true people." This is so pitifully ignorant that it is sad.

Numbers 15:37-41
37 IAUA spoke to Moses saying,
38 "Speak to the children of Israel and tell them that they are to place tassels on the borders of their garments throughout their generations. They are to put in the tassels a cord of blue.
39 The purpose of these tassels is a visual reminder of all the commandments of IAUA. Do these and do not seek your own desires and your own lusts as you have committed adultery against Me in the past.
40 Take heed and remember to do all my commandments and be holy to your God.
41 I am IAUA your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. I am IAUA your God."

The Law of Moses commanded by God is generally and disgracefully dismissed and ignored by Catholics, Protestants, and Adventists alike. Adventists should know better since they follow parts of the Law but dismiss others. God's messenger to the Adventist church did what she could to lead the church to follow the Law of Moses.

"In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon man in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law." {RH, May 6, 1875 par. 10} {1BC 1104.6} {ST April 15, 1875} Ellen G. White, "The Law of God", Review and Herald, May 6, 1875

Because the denomination refused to follow God's guidance, the Holy Spirit let the matter be placed in the background for a later time. This created confusion and distress for the messenger of God.

"I have not read Elder Butler's pamphlet, or any articles written by any of our writers, and do not mean to; but I did see years ago that Elder Waggoner's views were not correct, and read to him matter which I had written. The matter does not lie clear and distinct in my mind yet. I cannot grasp the matter, and for this reason I am fully convinced that presenting it has been not only untimely but deleterious." {1888 22.2} {9MR 215.2} {15MR 19.2} {PC 132.1}

You will probably not find anything related to the end time prophecy of Malachi 4 in either the book or the lesson. At least not anything that includes verse 4.

Malachi 4:4 "Remember the Law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him at Horeb for all Israel, statutes and judgments."

It is amazing that Adventists will quote and preach at great length on verses 1 through 3 but mysteriously jump to verses 5 and 6 for any further quotes and preaching. This is of course exactly what Satan wants to keep us away from any growth into new light and greater truth.

The knowledge and practice of the Law of Moses is critical. The most important part is studying and observing the yearly Sabbaths. This is similar to the emphasis on the weekly Sabbath in the Ten Commandments. This will lead the faithful student of the Bible to a deeper understanding of all the Bible, the prophecies, and the events of the end time.

When you leave out the true Third Elijah Message, you are left with an incomplete picture. There is a haunting sense that something is missing but you can't quite identify exactly what it is, when you deliberately ignore and don't teach the whole truth.

A parallel limitation of standard Adventist doctrine is that the focus is primarily on what Satan is doing and what is happening in the world. The specific focus is on the "Sunday Law". What is lacking is recognizing what God is doing in the church. The message to the Laodiceans has lost its impact because it is ignored.

Revelation 3:17 Because you say, I am rich, increased with goods, and have need of nothing. You do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.

Have you studied carefully all the prophecies about the end time?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
