Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 27 of month 5 of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6022 Anno Mundi. The Fall Sabbaths begin with Trumpets in four weeks and four days, day 1 of month 7 (Tuesday, September 11 of the 2018, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Monday, September 10). On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2018 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will be two days early in spring and one day early in fall. A frequent newsletter responder writes about the last newsletter concerning the stone cold hearts of the SDA. As usual, I am in full agreement with you. What is it that gets in the way of people seeing the plainly obvious? What is it that blinds people to the clear statements of God, while they claim to be faithfully following Him? How can you present the truth of God from clear inspired statements to professed people claiming to be preparing for the return of our Saviour, and that truth is then rejected? Now it appears I am being labelled as having 'a different ministry'. We employ 2 full time missionaries and thankfully the leader is a good student of the Bible, while the other, who is a recent theology graduate, now realises his lack of understanding of the Bible. He is asking for prayer for greater understanding, but he is gradually learning the present truth of God. The problem is there are so few people of spiritual maturity that you can teach the deeper things of God to. Most of them it is casting peals before swine. But like you, and Elijah, I am constantly looking for people and opportunities to lead people forward in their understanding and to study the Bible regularly for themselves. Our Lord will soon come. May we be ready ourselves with a great company of those who have responded to the pleading of the Holy Spirit. _____ I responded: "Full agreement" is a bit scary of a term until you think about it a bit. :-) The topic of unity has been part of many newsletters. I am reminded of the prayer of our Savior. John 17:11 (ERV) "Now I am coming to you. I will not stay in the world, but these followers of mine are still in the world. Holy Father, keep them safe by the power of your name--the name you gave me. Then they will be one, just as you and I are one. Also the words of Paul. Ephesians 4:13 (ERV) This work must continue until we are all joined together in what we believe and in what we know about the Son of God. Our goal is to become like a full-grown man--to look just like Christ and have all his perfection. I love the words of our Savior that describe the problem of seeing. John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light. They will not come to the light, because the light will show all the bad things they have done. He also commented on the problem paraphrasing Isaiah 6:10. Matthew 13:15 Yes, the minds of these people are now closed. They have ears, but they don't listen. They have eyes, but they refuse to see. If their minds were not closed, they might see with their eyes; they might hear with their ears; they might understand with their minds. Then they might turn back to me and be healed. You speak directly to the problem of being labeled "different". The SDA don't want to stick out or be seen as separate from their peers. They prefer to be associated with the ideas of men rather than the guidance of our Savior. Isn't it sad that a theology graduate has not been taught all of the Word. The denomination avoids sections of the Bible that expose their errors and hypocrisy. Our Savior said: Matthew 7:13-14 "You can enter true life only through the narrow gate. The gate to hell is very wide, and there is plenty of room on the road that leads there. Many people go that way. But the gate that opens the way to true life is narrow. And the road that leads there is hard to follow. Only a few people find it. Soon we will discover the Third Elijah, join with the 144k, and then the great multitude to meet our Savior and be taken home with Him. Another favorite verse. Habakkuk 2:3 Because the vision is still for an appointed time. At the end it will speak, and not lie. Though it takes a long time to come, wait for it. Because it will certainly come, it will not delay. Be at peace, Frank T. Clark - When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come. John 16:13 (FTCABE) _____ I am so very sad that there are so few willing to see the truth. I know that they are able, if they would listen to the Holy Spirit. I long for the words of Paul to be complete. "This work must continue until we are all joined together in what we believe and in what we know about the Son of God." I know that we can continue to be SDA and follow all truth. I am not calling for people to leave the denomination. We may not be in full agreement with the denomination about all truth, however, they are close enough for now. There is no other place to be in holy convocation. God will lead all who will follow to all truth in His time and according to His plan. Do you long for unity in truth? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
