Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father, Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 29 of month 1 of the year 1988 Anno Crucis of the Biblical Calendar. The final Spring Sabbath, Pentecost, is in 5 weeks and one day, day 6 of month 3 (Saturday, May 11 of the 2019, Gregorian Calendar, sunset Friday, May 10). On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2019 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will also be a month late. My wife was describing to me a video she was closed captioning for 3ABN. There was a discussion about the Law of Moses that complained that a woman caught in adultery was stoned but the man was not. Here is an excerpt from the Law of God about sexual sins demonstrating their ignorance. Leviticus 20:10-16 10 If a man has sexual relations with his neighbor's wife, both the man and the woman are guilty of adultery and must be put to death! 11 If a man has sexual relations with his father's wife, he has shamed his father! Both the man and the woman must be put to death. They are responsible for their own death. 12 If a man has sexual relations with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. They have committed a terrible sexual sin! They are responsible for their own death. 13 If a man has sexual relations with another man as with a woman, they have committed a terrible sin. They must be put to death. They are responsible for their own death. 14 It is a sexual sin if a man has sexual relations with a woman and her mother. The people must burn that man and the two women in fire! Don't let this sexual sin happen among your people. 15 If a man has sexual relations with an animal, both the man and the animal must be put to death. 16 If a woman has sexual relations with an animal, you must kill the woman and the animal. They must be put to death. They are responsible for their own death. This demonstrates the general ignorance of Adventists about the Law of Moses because the denomination dismisses its importance. In particular they deny that we need to observe all of God's Law. They talk a lot about the Ten Commandments as if this was the limit of God's Law that applies to us. Our Savior says to these ignorant people: Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered, "You are so wrong! You don't know what the Scriptures say. And you don't know anything about God's power. Our ignorance is our own fault because we have so many wonderful sources of Bible translations and EGW reference material available anytime for free online. Our Savior said we are to remember the Law of Moses. (Malachi 4:4) Even Ellen said it is binding today. "In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon man in every age as long as time should last.
