Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 6 of month 2 of the year 1988 Anno Crucis of theBiblical Calendar.

The final Spring Sabbath, Pentecost, is in 4 weeks and one day, day 6 of month 3 (Saturday, May 11 of the 2019, Gregorian Calendar, sunset Friday, May 10).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2019 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will also be a month late.

I often ponder the end of the time of sin when our Savior will come a second time. This time He will take us home with Him. We struggle like the souls under the altar. We cry out "How long?"

Habakkuk 2:1-3
1 I will stand at my watch and place myself in a tower. I will wait to see what He will say to me. What will He answer to my complaint?
2 IAUA answered me, and said, "Write the vision in a book. Make it plain so that the busy person may read it.
3 "The vision is about an appointed time. At the end it will happen. It is not a lie. Though it may not be for a while, wait for it. It will certainly come, it will not delay.

The KJV wording is often awkward such as where it uses the same word "tarry" for two different Hebrew words. I believe my own translation efforts above are more accurate.

I am also reminded of the confusion over the words of our Savior.

Matthew 24:21-22
21 It will be a time of great trouble. There will be more trouble than has ever happened since the beginning of the world. Nothing as bad as that will ever happen again.
22 But God has decided to make that terrible time short. If it were not made short, no one would continue living. But God will make that time short to help the people he has chosen.

There has been a lot of confusion about this. Even Martin Luther expected that time would be cut short and the Lord would return in his day.

Almost everyone knows that the end is expected after 6000 years. People disagree on the exact date for the end of the 6000 years. This is very unpopular with Adventists. They are paranoid about any "date setting". I recognized some patterns years ago but only recently has the simple answer come to me during Bible Study.

Most assume that the "shortened" days means that the end will come shorter than the "expected" time. I personally believe that since God knows everything, He planned for everything in advance. His plan does not change.

It seems obvious to me that there are two ways the days can be "shortened". I believe that the time of trouble will be cut short by delaying its beginning. This is confirmed in Revelation.

Revelation 7:1-3
1 After this happened I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth. The angels were holding the four winds of the earth. They were stopping the wind from blowing on the land or the sea or on any tree.
2 Then I saw another angel coming from the east. This angel had the seal of the living God. The angel called out in a loud voice to the four angels. These were the four angels that God had given the power to hurt the earth and the sea. The angel said to them,
3 "Don't harm the land or the sea or the trees before we mark the foreheads of those who serve our God."

The end will not be sooner. The beginning of the great tribulation is being delayed.

Do you study all the Word of God to prepare for the end of time?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
