Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 19 of month 3 of the year 1988 Anno Crucis of the Biblical Calendar.

The Fall Sabbaths, begin with Trumpets in 14 weeks and two days, day 1 of month 7 (Sunday, September 1 of the 2019, Gregorian Calendar, sunset Saturday, October 31).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2019 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will also be a month late.

I am pleased to observe that the seventh Biblical month begins this year on the first day of the old Roman seventh month. Nothing significant about it. It happens regularly but it is pleasing that all the day numbers of the Biblical Calendar and the Beast Calendar will match this seventh month.

Because keeping track of the Biblical Calendar is so important, I am planning to begin publishing a blog entry every week that reminds us of the current date of the Biblical Calendar whether I have any additional thoughts to share or not.

I received a forwarded email from Secrets Unsealed which said:

We are happy to share with you that the complete series on the Hebrew feasts is now available on our YouTube channel. Study this topic online at your own pace, and refer your friends to this valuable free resource.

Here is what Richard had to say about this study:

"This syllabus, the culmination of decades of intense study, aided by the Holy Spirit, should be in every church library. It sets the standard for future publications on this subject, if anyone dares to try it.

I'm currently in a long debate with a feast keeper, and I've labored with another for a few years. I just mailed a letter today to heretic author Tom Stapleton in Kelowna, Canada. I warmly suggested that he buy The Hebrew Religious Calendar syllabus and carefully study it. My feast keeper friend wanted me to watch one of Tom's videos. In the first 7+ minutes he told two lies, so I stopped right there. In my letter I told him the truth about those wrong comments in a friendly way. My friend also loaned me his book, Restoring God's Feasts. I didn't read any of it because the premise of the title was false, and anything else he said to expand on it would also be false. I quoted EGW, Review & Herald, Feb. 25, 1896 where she plainly states, "Christ has taken his people into his church. He has swept away every ceremony of the ancient type. He has given no liberty to restore these rites." So, if Tom needs a higher authority than Christ, and he won't find one!"

I respect the work of Secrets Unsealed very much but they are not free from the effect of Standard Adventist Doctrine (SAD) lies. It is disappointing that Steven Bohr can be so clear, detailed, and knowledgeable in so many subjects but fall victim to SAD on the subject of the Law of Moses relating to the Biblical Calendar.

Adventists have long emphasized to Sunday keepers that you can't use a single verse to establish a doctrine. Neither can you use a verse out of its context. The same would therefore be true for an EGW quote.

"Richard" leaves out the end of the sentence in his EGW quote, which completely changes the understanding and negates his point.

"... He has given no liberty to restore these rites, or to substitute anything that will recall the old literal sacrifices...." {RH, February 25, 1896 par. 8}

Therefore, she is talking only about the animal sacrifices being abolished, which is completely in line with the Word of God. Otherwise she would also be inconsistent with this quote:

"In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon man in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law." {RH, May 6, 1875 par. 10}

Many quotes from EGW that are used to dismiss God's Law, are twisted understandings that are inconsistent with this quote. She is always talking about the animal sacrifices being done away with. She is never talking against anything else in the Law of Moses.

Another context failure of SAD is that it awkwardly applies Colossians 2:14 to the Law of Moses but ignores verse 13, which clearly indicates the subject is the record of our trespasses (sins).

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Many other translations make this very clear.

Colossians 2:13 You were spiritually dead because of your sins and because you were not free from the power of your sinful self. But God gave you new life together with Christ. He forgave all our sins.
14 Because we broke God's laws, we owed a debt--a debt that listed all the rules we failed to follow. But God forgave us of that debt. He took it away and nailed it to the cross.

What is taken away is our debt, not the Law.

There is always confusion and a lack of precision in what is said and what is written. When the writing is from God we can count on the Holy Spirit to make it clear to us, if we study context carefully and are willing to hear.

Do you follow all the context of written truth?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
