Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 26 of month 3 of the year 1988 Anno Crucis of the Biblical Calendar. The Fall Sabbaths, begin with Trumpets in 13 weeks and two days, day 1 of month 7 (Sunday, September 1 of the 2019, Gregorian Calendar, sunset Saturday, October 31). On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2019 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will also be a month late. I was pondering the lack of progress in calling mankind and specifically Adventists to take an interest in God's Word, 20th Century Present Truth, God's Law, obedience, and discipleship. This lack is a great source of my disappointment, sadness, and concern for the brethren. I struggle with discouragement (losing courage) by constantly reminding myself that God has a plan and that plan will come about in His way and His time. He has promised (prophecy) there will be a great prophet, the Third Elijah, who will make a powerful call for obedience to all of God's Law. He has promised there will be a great message, the Fourth Angel's Message, that will be powerful enough to bring the light of God's Word to the entire world. These thoughts encourage (gaining courage) me knowing that God never lies and has the power to make His Word come true. I believe in Him. Sadly, many Adventists are mostly ignorant of these prophecies. My Adventist brethren claim to be diligent students of the Bible. They claim to follow God's Word. They claim to be interested in prophecy. The truth is that they are not as much as they think they are. I was just like them twenty years ago. They are truly the Laodicean church. Revelation 3:14-22 Write this to the angel messenger to the church in Laodicea: "Here is a message from the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of all that God has made." "I know what you do. You are not hot or cold. I wish that you were hot or cold! But you are only warm, not hot, not cold. So I am ready to spit you out of my mouth. You say you are rich. You think you have become wealthy and don't need anything. But you don't know that you are really miserable, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked. "I advise you to buy gold from me. Gold made pure in fire. Then you will be rich. I tell you this: Buy clothes that are white. Then you will be able to cover your shameful nakedness. I also tell you to buy medicine to put on your eyes. Then you will be able to see. I correct and punish the people I love. So show that nothing is more important to you than living right. Change your hearts and lives. "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you. And you will eat with me. I will let everyone who wins the victory sit with me on my throne. It was the same with me. I won the victory and sat down with my Father on his throne. Everyone who hears this should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches." Sometimes it is so clear that Adventists are cowards. They don't dare think for themselves, even though they claim they do. They won't follow the Bible, when the pastor and other church members won't. They choose to believe what the denomination says instead of the Bible. Guess WHAT! They are just like Sunday-keepers. It is true. They have taken some steps forward on some issues. However they still follow the Popes in others. They do not have the courage to follow God and their convictions all the way. Do you have the courage to follow God and all His written truth? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
