Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 27 of month 7 of the year 1988 Anno Crucis of the Biblical Calendar.

The Fall Sabbaths are past. We look forward to God's New Years Day in 23 weeks and six days, day 15 of month 1 (Thursday, April 9 of the 2020, Gregorian Calendar, sunset Wednesday, April 8).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same in the Gregorian 2020 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is also the same.

I was pondering God's love, justice and mercy. So many people find it difficult to understand and practice these according to the Bible. I recently observed the typical conservative Adventist who can be judgmental because they emphasize justice and are often short of mercy and understanding.

Psalms 103:8-14
8 IAUA is kind and merciful. He is patient and full of love. He does not always criticize.
9 He does not stay angry with us forever.
10 We sinned against him, but He did not give us the punishment we deserved.
11 His love for His followers is as high above us as heaven is above the earth.
12 He has taken our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west.
13 IAUA is as kind to His children as a father is to his children.
14 He knows all about us. He knows we are made from dust.

I am reminded of our Savior's words to Nicodemus. These are very instructive because Nicodemus was a religious leader. Our Savior began immediately with the basics of 1st century present truth.

John 3:9-10 (FTCABE)
9 Nicodemus responded, "How can these things be?"
10 Jesus said, "You are a teacher of Israel, but you do not know these things?"

He moved immediately to advanced elements of 1st century present truth. He emphasized God's love and mercy, because these were the elements currently needing emphasis.

John 3:14-17 (FTCABE)
14 "As Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, the Son of man must be lifted up.
15 So that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 Because God loves the world so much, He gave his only born Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 Because God did not send his Son to the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

Our Savior clearly describes the primary difference in who is condemned. It is based on belief.

John 3:1-21
18 He who believes in him is not condemned. He who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
19 This is the condemnation. Light has come to the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, because his deeds would be exposed.
21 But, he who does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made revealed, that they are done in God."

These verses speak of God's love for everyone. Notice that everyone should have eternal life. However, those who refuse to believe what He teaches and do what He asks us to do have chosen not to believe in Him. They may claim to believe but their actions show the truth. Belief is not just a mental acceptance. Belief is an active practice of all Biblical truth.

Luke 6:46 Why do you call me, "Lord, Lord", and do not do the things I say?

Our Savior was also clear in His last words to His disciples just before He was taken for the crucifixion.

John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my law."

Therefore, judgment comes to the wicked by their own choice. Teachers spend countless hours trying to explain the difference between God's Love, His Justice, and His Mercy. I have come to the conclusion that God's love, justice, and mercy are all the same thing. They are totally identical. Satan's deceptions cause some students of the Bible to be confused by the apparent harshness they see in this text, as an example.

Exodus 20:5-6
5 You must not bow down to them, or serve them. I am IAUA your God, I will not allow my honor to be given to another. I visit the results of the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
6 I show mercy to thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

They mistakenly declare it is unjust for God to punish the children for the sins of the fathers. They are unaware that God specifically commanded that the children are not to be punished for the sins of the father. They overlook the distinction that only those who continue to hate Him suffer the results of generational sin. God's mercy is extended to those who love Him and they will be able to escape generational sin.

Deuteronomy 24:16 Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin.

God's love, justice and mercy are identical because they identify those who are too proud to accept God's perfect plan. This shows they do not want to a part of His people. The wicked have shown they will continue harming themselves and others. They will suffer the results of their own choices and be blotted out.

How sad and ignorant it is to think that God could allow the wicked to continue hurting themselves and others with their sin. They refuse to follow God's Law of Love that guarantees everyone is happy without causing any harm to anyone.

God allows sin to continue for a short period of time so that nobody will have any doubt or misunderstanding about the results of sin. Six thousand years of the pain and suffering of sin are nothing compared to our eternal happiness. He still limits the results of sin to protect all His people, wicked and righteous. The wicked see this as acceptance and permission, to their own destruction. God has many promises to the righteous that He is with them and sees them through this short trial.

Trust in IAUShUO and follow His plan.

John 14:6 IAUShUO answered, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The only way to be with the Father is through following me."

Do you understand God's justice and mercy?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
