"IAUA End Time Ministry" presents this book "Preparing for the End of Time" to spread new Bible light on God's last message to the world. This book is about Bible study, prophecy, and eschatology (the end of the world) for serious students of the Bible. God loves us and wants us to be prepared for the end of time. He has revealed what will happen in the end of time. The final judgment of the world is coming soon. The end of the world is preceded by a final message from the Bible. My purpose is to share my studies of the Bible with seekers of truth. The material in this book is the result of a website project begun in 2004, which grew because of my studies and with input from online readers like you. The topics of this book arise out of the history and Biblical understanding of the Seventh-day Adventist church. Necessary background and introductory material is included to help lead anyone interested in the Bible to understand the material presented. This book is not intended to be a detailed scholarly presentation. The subject is presented completely but simply and briefly. It is not my intent to try to convince you of these truths. It is my desire to point you to the Bible and truth, which is often overlooked. You will need to investigate and verify these truths for yourself. The Internet is a valuable tool for research. The information in this book is available for online reading with many research links and additional material under ongoing development at the website: This book, color covers, color illustrations, and other ministry books are available for free PDF download from the website. Information on obtaining additional print copies of this book and other ministry books is also available on the website. First Edition published 2008-05-11. Second Edition published 2009-10-23. Fourth revision released 2011-10-02 into the Public Domain. All Bible quotations are from the King James Version. I added the emphasis of underlining in Bible quotes and in EGW quotes. Preachers, teachers, and students of the Bible take note. You will read ideas in this book you may find controversial and disturbing. Hold tightly to the teachings of the Bible and let the Bible interpret itself. Do not cling to the traditions and teachings of men, even if you have taught them yourself. Open your heart and mind through prayer for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. |
About the AuthorEliau is the pen name of Frank T. Clark. I use a pen name because this book is not about me. I am not seeking to promote myself. The pen name is a transliteration of the original Hebrew for Elijah. The picture on the back cover is also for very specific purposes, which are not about promoting my face or me. I am an ultraconservative, lifetime, fifth-generation, Seventh-day Adventist believer. No religion has the whole truth or is the exclusive source of truth. Each individual accepts truth as they study the Bible to understand for themselves. I describe myself as an ultraconservative because my beliefs go beyond adhering to only the current teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist church. I believe errors have crept into the teachings of the church. I seek a return to the truth revealed to the early Adventist church, there is "New Light" in God's Law we must seek. I seek a continued growth beyond the current complacent (Laodicean) attitude of the church to return to the primitive godliness of the Messiah, the disciples, and the apostles. Do not waste your time asking your pastor or other church leader about what this book presents. They will only tell you what they believe and what they teach. Let God and the Holy Spirit reveal directly to you the truth found in the Bible. It is my purpose to point you to truth in the Bible, which is often overlooked. It is my intent and expectation you will study the Bible about this for yourself. It is my prayer the Holy Spirit will guide you. 13 When the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth... and He will show you things to come. |
About the CoverThe intended color scheme of this book's cover is from God's sanctuary and is described in numerous places. 1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses. The background is royal blue which represents God's law. Gold represents the riches of God's truth, purple represents the royalty of the King of Kings, and scarlet represents the blood of the Lamb. Linen is white, which represents purity. |
Using this Online Book (Additional Material)All the study materials I use in this presentation are readily available on the internet. All Bible quotations are from the King James Version. This version is traditional and highly accurate except for the nearly universal failing to reveal the Sacred Holy Name. I have not attempted to correct this failing for the sake of those purists who may be offended. All quotations from the Bible have a link to an online Bible website, BibleGateway.com. This link makes the context of the quote immediately available. This online Bible also helps you to compare the KJV with several other versions of the Bible. Comparing the different translations leads to a deeper understanding of the text. I find the New American Standard Bible particularly useful for the section headings, footnotes, and cross-references. There is also a website, BlueLetterBible.org, which contains Hebrew/Greek Concordance cross references to Strong's Dictionary. This assists the study of the original Hebrew and Greek word meanings. Prophecy is the guide to understanding the time in which we live. I have intensively studied the Bible books of Daniel and Revelation. All the primary sources for my presentation and beliefs are from the Bible. There are significant prophecies in many other books of the Bible. I have read the book Great Controversy and other writings by Ellen White. Seventh-day Adventists have a great respect for this author and I have included some quotes from this book and other writings. I have read the book Daniel and the Revelation by Uriah Smith. Adventists have some respect for this author and I have read this for prophetic interpretational background. I do not directly quote this book but it is highly recommended reading for a background and understanding of Bible prophecy. I make many references to other authors and websites. This means I have found them informative and helpful. It does not mean I agree with everything they say. Every teaching must be compared to scripture. Every individual must study and decide for themselves. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide in your understanding. Since the internet is in a state of constant change some of my references to other websites will break over time. There is a disturbing trend I will warn you about. Pornographers will often pick up an expired website. This has happened even to religious sites I used to reference and will probably happen again. (Book Contents) Next: Letter from the Author |
