Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath.

This newsletter deals with a disturbing subject. False prophets, false teachers and false teachings. This topic was triggered by a recent event and grew while I was praying and researching in the Bible. It was strengthened while re-reading Ellen White about the events of the "Great Disappointment" of 1844. In the end, it is similar to and an extension of last week's newsletter, "Majoring on the Minors".

This is a time of spiritual awakening and excitement. The first reason for this is the revelation of "New Light from Old Truths". I am referring to the Third Elijah Message. The second is the unfolding of prophetic events. There are many more expected to occur soon. There are increasing dangers appearing.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

There are many signs of the end of time occurring all around us. One of the signs is an increase in prophetic utterances by hundreds of individuals. The most prominent of these are surrounded by world famous public apparitions of Jesus and the Virgin Mary. There are also many associated with private visions. Mary, the mother of the Messiah is dead and in the grave. I refuse to accept the sayings of anyone who claims to have seen or heard the Virgin Mary.

When the time of trouble begins and the Holy Spirit is poured out in large measure, there will also be an increase in spiritualism. This is already happening and will surely increase. The primary sign of spiritualism is communication with the spirits of the dead. I include with spiritualism any physical apparition of God.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

There are those who claim to have been visited by God the Father. The most prominent of these is Joseph Smith, founder of the Church of the Latter-Day Saints. I spent some time studying with LDS missionaries and Smith apparently claimed that he actually saw in physical form the Father and the Son. The "Father" told him to listen to the "Son". The only explanation for this is a deception of Satan.

First, no man of this sinful earth may see the Father and live. Second, the next time we see the Messiah will be in clouds. Every eye will see Him and He will not touch the earth. I refuse to accept the sayings of anyone who claims to have physically seen the Messiah. I also refuse to accept the sayings of anyone who claims to have seen or heard the Father even in vision.

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

There is a danger in the midst of a valid interest in prophecy. False prophets and prophecies will arise and have risen in great number. We must be cautious to avoid being caught up in a fanatical frenzy. A false excitement is stirred which will draw away from the importance of the true message. This is a deception of Satan.

There is a large organization, formed in the 1950s, that has a "message". When I studied the "message", I was surprised to find that they recognized from prophecy the existence of the Third Elijah Message and the Fourth Angel's Message. They did not know or understand the actual content of the message. Their "message" became a message about the message. They built heavily on prophetic interpretation as the basis of their "message".

There are many today that are caught up in the excitement of prophecy. Satan deceives them because they do not see the message of the times. Prophecy separated from the message is deception. A similar deception is to have only part of the truth.

These are the truths I understand. I believe in the Word of God and everything it says as taught and practiced by the Messiah, the disciples, and the apostles.

I believe in the Three Angels' Message to the world presented in the 19th century. This message led to the coming out of a remnant to follow God's Word. This message is associated with the Seventh-Day Adventist denomination. This message is the restoration of much of God's truth including the fourth commandment, the Sabbath. The Seventh-Day Adventist denomination does not recognize all the truth stated in the Bible.

I believe in the Third Elijah Message to those who follow the Three Angels' Message. Those who do not first follow the truth revealed by the work of the Three Angels' Message will not be able to understand and follow the Third Elijah Message. This message leads to the coming out and sealing of the 144,000 to follow God's Word. This message is the restoration of all of God's law including the statutes.

The present truth of God is only revealed to those who are already following the previously revealed truth of God. I will not quote or present the words and teachings of anyone who does not follow all the truths of the Three Angels' Message. I will not quote or present the words and teachings of anyone who contradicts the truths of the Third Elijah Message.

I believe in the Fourth Angel's Message to the world. This message will be presented by the 144,000. It leads to the coming out and sealing of the redeemed from all churches to follow all God's Word. This message is the restoration of all of God's law including the statutes. This message is immediately followed by the Second Coming of the Messiah.

I believe there is a danger in quoting , using, or repeating any part of a message when the source of the message does not have all of God's truth. Those we are trying to help and teach will assume that the source is considered credible and learn more of their teachings which do not agree with the Bible. This is why my primary reference for all I teach is the Bible. I also quote Ellen White as a valuable source for the Spirit of Prophecy. Ellen White does not speak against the importance of the statutes in the Third Elijah Message.

Do you think it is wise for presenters of truth to quote those who do not have all the truth?

May you find peace in the name of Yahushua (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah the son of God.

Shabbat Shalom
