Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath. I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

It seems like hardly a week goes by there is not a news story that brings a realization that time is short. A 70 foot freak wave smacks a cruise ship. Earthquakes continue in tsunami devastated Sumatra and worlwide. Now their volcanoes are showing signs of eruptions. Volcano eruptions are occurring in Madasgar and the Pacific. Many of these don't make the front page anymore.

Mount St. Helens has been in an eruptive state with magnitude 2 earthquakes and above almost hourly since last September.

The U.S. Geological Survey, Cascades Volcano Observatory says:

"Seismicity remains in the pattern of the past week, with a ~M-1 earthquake occurring every other minute or so. The three GPS receivers in the crater continue their slow rates of displacement, which suggests that the dome continues to be extruded, albeit slowly."

When you investigate these things it brings a sense of chill to see how things are escalating. Creation truly groans under the disruption of sin and soon will break down. We are warned that there is an unleashing that will occur.

Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

I have been studying parallels between the Exodus and the Rapture. The Exodus was a release of the children of Israel from the bondage of Egypt. The Rapture will be a release of the last day children of Israel from the bondage of sin.

The last days are prophecied to be a time of great trouble.

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Just prior to the Exodus things got worse for the children of Israel. Moses complained:

Exodus 5:22 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

Imagine the temporary discouragement Moses felt. He was called to free the people but at first things got worse for them and not better. Even the first three of the ten plagues fell on the children of Israel.

The plagues and symbolic meanings:

1. Water turns to blood - Life source threatened
2. Frogs - pagan worship
3. Lice - Physical discomfort

The seven last Egyptian plagues:

1. Flies - Physical discomfort
2. Livestock died - Commerce disrupted
3. Boils - Physical discomfort
4. Hail - Commerce disrupted
5. Locusts - Commerce disrupted
6. Darkness - no light or truth
7. First born slain - Posterity threatened

There are many similiarities to the seven last plagues:

1. Sores - Physical discomfort
2. Sea turns to blood - Commerce disrupted
3. Rivers turn to blood - Life source threatened
4. Scorching sun - pagan worship
5. Darkness - no light or truth
6. Euphrates dried - no support of Babylon
7. Hail of stones - All destroyed

Psalms 91 provides comfort and assurance that the righteous will be protected through the plagues.

As the world continues to fall apart is your security grounded in God?

May we all find peace and unity in the soon coming of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.

Shabbat Shalom
