Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath. I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord.

I can't help but repeat one of the promises that has been my constant prayer, comfort, and meditation.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10

A reader asks some serious questions.

-----

It is wonderful to hear that you and your wife are willing to make a public statement of your faith. Praise His awesome name that she is growing this way!

But I am wondering why get put back on the "Corporate Books" of the SDA denomination... now? I am a Seventh-day Adventist and will remain, by the unmerited favor of Yahveh, faithful to the message the early pioneers presented along with new light as He presents it along our walk. But the present day denomination is fast joining hands with popery. The Remnant Church is not a man-made organization or a building but rather a body of believers,"...here are they that keep the commandments of Elohim, and the faith of Yahshua." Rev. 14:12 In the last days we will be meeting, not in churches but in "small companies" and protected by "encircling rainbows". His true church is not lead by a president or council but by Christ Himself. After the 1888 GC, Sister White wrote that the General Conference no longer spoke with the authority of Elohim.

This is what most of the quotes...now...read:

"At times, when a small group of men entrusted with the general management of the work have, in the name of the General Conference, sought to carry out unwise plans and to restrict God's work, I have said that I could no longer regard the voice of the General Conference, represented by these few men, as the voice of God. But this is not saying that the decisions of a General Conference composed of an assembly of duly appointed, representative men from all parts of the field, should not be respected. God has ordained that the representatives of His church from all parts of the earth, when assembled in a General Conference, shall have authority."

But notice the date... ChL - Christian Leadership (1985).

Now look at what she said in her day:

"As things now exist in Battle Creek, the work of God cannot be carried forward on a correct basis. How long will these things be? When will the perceptions of men be made clear and sharp by the ministration of the Holy Spirit? Some there do not detect the injurious effects of the plans which for years have been working in an underhand manner. Some of the managers at the present time are walking in the light that they have received, and are doing the best they can, but their fellow workers are making things so oppressive for them that they can do but little. The enslaving of the souls of men by their fellow men in deepening the darkness which already envelops them. Who can now feel sure that they are safe in respecting the voice of the General Conference Association? If the people in our churches understood the management of the men who walk in the light of the sparks of their own kindling, would they respect their decisions? I answer, No, not for a moment. I have been shown that the people at large do not know that the heart of the work is being diseased and corrupted at Battle Creek. Many of the people are in a lethargic, listless, apathetic condition, and assent to plans which they do not understand. Where is the voice, from whence will it come, to whom the people may listen, knowing that it comes from the True Shepherd? I am called upon by the Spirit of God to present these things before you, and they are correct to the life, according to the practice of the past few years. {PH080 19.2}

Phamplets - Special Instruction Relating to the R&H office and The Work in Battle Creek. (1896)

I was just wondering, my brother, if you knew something that I need to know on this matter????

On a similar cord, if you have securities, bonds, retirement funds, money in the bank, etc., it would be prudent to liquidate as much as possible, now. When we are aware of the prophecies and keep watch of the news we are slowly becoming aware of the innuendos and underlining messages given by broadcasters. Another major event, like 9/11 is about to take place very soon, and when it does it will bring about financial ruin for all who trust in the market, real estate or banks.

For what it is worth, our government has turned their back on Elohim just as has the G C. Both institutions have broken covenant with Yahveh our Elohim. Should we willingly be a part of their trespasses?

-----

Your question is a good one that has caused many hours of prayerful thought and study. If you look back through past newsletters you will discover that I have mentioned related thoughts several times. I will repeat, summarize, and enlarge on those thoughts.

It is true that to be on the membership books is just an accounting needed for organization in this world. I find that I need to be in the fellowship of those who are most closely following the will of God. I have learned that I need to put away bitterness and forgive the church for problems that exist. I am not perfect either and am forgiven by God. Consider carefully. What is a person saying who refuses membership in a group with which they fellowship?

Consider carefully this phrase in the Lord's prayer. "Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin".

I find no error in the published fundamental teachings of the church. Sometimes what appears to me to be error is taught by some. This will be judged by God and the church body. I believe there is additional new light on old truths. I believe that we must not argue and cause division in the church. Read carefully my recently revised chapter.

www.IAUA.name/Light.html

The revelation of this light to individuals and to the church is the work of the Holy Spirit. God has provided prophets to perform this work. Unless a person has the love of God in their hearts and is called by the Holy Spirit, they need to consider carefully their responsibility.

Careful reading and historical research will resolve the apparent differences in the two quotes. The earlier quote refers to the "General Conference Association" which was a small group of men in the early organization of the church. Under Mrs. White's guidance the work was reorganized to correct this problem.

The complete original of the later quote:

Testimonies for the Church Volume Nine (1909)

At times, when a small group of men entrusted with the general management of the work have, in the name of the General Conference, sought to carry out unwise plans and to restrict God's work, I have said that I could no longer regard the voice of the General Conference, represented by these few men, as the voice of God. But this is not saying that the decisions of a General Conference composed of an assembly of duly appointed, representative men from all parts of the field should not be respected. God has ordained that the representatives of His church from all parts of the earth, when assembled in a General Conference, shall have authority. The error that some are in danger of committing is in giving to the mind and judgment of one man, or of a small group of men, the full measure of authority and influence that God has vested in His church in the judgment and voice of the General Conference assembled to plan for the prosperity and advancement of His work. {9T 260.2}

This makes clear the difference between a few men and the "representatives of His church from all parts of the earth, when assembled in a General Conference".

I agree that we appear to be on the brink of a major financial catastrophe. I also suspect that we are on the brink of other major catastrophes. I suspect these are all related to the end of time which may be far sooner than we think. These are no cause for panic. The prophecies have already prepared us. Prudent action directed by the Holy Spirit is required.

May we all find peace and unity in the soon coming of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.

Shabbat Shalom
