Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings! I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord.

I have decided that the only time I will find a little opportunity to write will be on the weekend. Therefore newsletters will be planned for a Monday when I can. I have been feeling bottled up because there is so much in my mind to write but there is no time for it.

A few weeks ago I was at vespers at the Thompsonville SDA church. There was a little bit of confusion with the scheduling. No one knew who was to present the vespers program. Shelley Quinn turned to me and suggested that I get up and give a talk. I was so shocked I was speechless. She said, "I am serious". I didn't know what to say. If I were to give a talk, I know quite well what I would say and I am not sure if I should say it.

The words that came out of my mouth were unplanned. I said, "You don't know what you are asking". I am not sure she knew what I meant by that. She didn't say any more and I sat there in deep thought and consternation.

If I had spoken, it would have been about the Third Elijah Message. I had a rude awakening when I realized that I was not truly prepared to share that message.

Now, don't get me wrong. I know very well what I could say. This website is full of the things I have written that I could say. In days past I might have just said that. These days I am waiting for God to reveal how, where, and when this message will be given.

As my studies have continued deeper and deeper into the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy, I have been confronted with an apparent paradox. I am absolutely certain of the validity and importance of the Third Elijah Message. I am also aware that the message is one that has caused divisiveness within the church in the past and in the present. Divisiveness does not serve the cause of God. I am looking to God to resolve the paradox as He has promised.

Malachi 4:5
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Here is the reason I said I am not truly prepared to share the message. If the time comes for me to share this message through a medium other than the internet, I suspect that there is a proper way to share the message in a gentle, non-confrontational way. I do not believe I am prepared for that kind of a presentation.

On the internet, a person comes looking for the content to be found on my site. If they understand and accept the presentation, they will continue reading. If they do not understand or accept the presentation, they will move on. There is little opportunity for confrontation since there is no personal interaction.

In a personal discussion, this is difficult because you have to be sensitive to know when to stop, if the message is not being accepted.

In a group presentation, this is more difficult because you have less feedback, if the message is not being accepted. You also do not have the option to just stop. Therefore you have to be sensitive to how you present the message.

Primarily, the Holy Spirit must be the source of the inspiration for a difficult message like this one. The Holy Spirit will also be the prime source of the influence for the acceptance of this message. Therefore, one has to be very careful to proceed only at the direction of God and not by their own inclination.

I have given thought to the preparation for how I might present this message, if the occasion arises. The most important thing is to provide a solid biblical foundation. There are some interesting analogies to physical foundations for things such as houses. The interesting thing about good foundations is that they reach deep down to things that are not apparent on the surface. Another interesting observation is that foundations look quite different from the structures they support.

In my next newsletter I will describe some of the biblical foundations I am laying deep within some surprising parts of the Bible. As my daily Bible studies continue and I listen to messages presented by others little gems of truth which relate to the Third Elijah Message reveal themselves. I will attempt to string these together in an attractive and enlightening picture.

I have a thought provoking question for you.

Does your daily Bible study and your hearing of the word of God from the presentations of others reveal to you little gleaming gems of fresh truth?

May we all find peace and unity in the soon coming of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
