Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the 20th day of the 4th month of God's Sacred Calendar. It is nine weeks and five days until the beginning of the Fall Sacred Holydays starting with the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month which is Trumpets Sabbath (Thursday, September 13 on the 2007 Gregorian calendar).

This week also I will continue on the subject of the "Time of Trouble". This time I will expand what has been presented to review some of the specific events and circumstances of the time of trouble. It is becoming clear to me as I study that discussing the possible length of the time of trouble is pointless unless you can define what happens during that time period.

It may not be clear what specific events will happen that indicate that the "Time of Trouble" has begun. Some events described in the Bible may begin long before the time of trouble or long after the time of trouble has already begun. The end of the time of trouble will be when the Saviour comes to take us home.

Luke 21:25-28
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

I think it is clear that the beginning of some of these things has already started. The 2001-09-11 disaster of human devising, the tsunami, hurricane, and other disasters are all part of a continually increasing pattern which is leading toward final events.

As with all prophecy, most of the fulfillments will not truly be understood until after or when they actually happen. This is to build our faith in time of trouble. I believe these words concerning His crucifixion apply to all His prophetic words.

John 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

What are some of the events that will very clearly be final events in the time of trouble?

  • Revelation 13:16
    Mark of the beast.

  • Matthew 24:15-16, Mark 13:14
    Abomination of Desolation, flee to the mountains.

  • Matthew 24:24, II Corinthians 11:14, II Thessalonians 2:8
    Satan will appear.

  • Isaiah 34:4, Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:25, Luke 21:26, Revelation 6:14
    The powers of heaven shaken.

  • Matthew 24:30, Mark 13:26, Luke 21:27
    The Son of Man coming in a cloud.

The Mark of the Beast which is Sunday legislation is very close. Satan has already appeared as Marian apparitions. Soon he will appear openly. We are told about these things so that we will be prepared.

Matthew 24:25 Behold, I have told you beforehand.

Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand.

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Are the things of this world on your thoughts or are you preparing for the end of time?

I pray that we may all continue to strive for love, peace and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-uh-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
