Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-uh-oo-uh) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray that this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the 8th day of the 5th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the year 6012 Anno Mundi. It is seven weeks and two days until The Fall Sabbaths begin with the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month which is Trumpets Sabbath (Sunset on Sunday, August 31 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). It is interesting to note that Monday September 1 is Labor Day which means almost everyone (in the US) will be partially and unintentionally observing the Yearly Sabbath by not working. _____ I have had occasion to correspond with a new Adventist who is also new to understanding the Law of Moses. I believe my response to him is a valuable thought for all of us. _____ My brother mentioned to me that you have been making inquiries into the present truth for our time of remembering all of God's Law. I refer to this as the Third Elijah Message for the End of Time.
Mal 4:4-6
I understand that you are a new Adventist so I suspect that you may feel a little overwhelmed with all the new truth you have already accepted. I don't know what your religious background is but I suspect that this additional information is even more overwhelming. Let me first reassure you that when you accepted God's call in your life to believe in the Son of God your life was changed and you received everlasting life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Let me also reassure you that because God loves you, He has not suddenly begun to condemn you because you do not instantly know everything He has to teach you. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Even after teaching the disciples for three and a half years the Messiah said to them (and to us...): John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. He promised them and us that more would be provided. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. The Holy Spirit has lead you to take a step forward in following God's will for your life when you accepted additional truth as taught by the Adventist church. This is an exciting journey and the Holy Spirit continues to lead us our whole life into a deeper relationship with God and deeper understanding of His truth. God's word is the primary guidance for our lives. You may look to others for guidance but do not depend on the church or any man. Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Anything that does not agree with God's word is not the truth. Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Satan will try to tempt you and overwhelm but be assured that God is patient and when you continue to study His word you remain in His approval. II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. You are already asking questions about the tassels (Numbers 15:37-41), which means you have either been exposed to the idea before or you are moving very fast. This may be one of the smallest and most recent of God's requirements. Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Soon there will be 144,000. _____ Will you choose to be one of the 144,000, by God's grace, or one of those who choose to follow the Third Elijah Message? I pray that we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-uh-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
