Brothers and Sisters in the faith of IAUA our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath.

I have been hearing some disturbing comments in the last couple of years. I have been hearing even more in recent times. You may have heard them also.

"This is not necessary for our salvation."

"We have studied that subject and we don't need to hear anymore about it."

"We have to start studies with baby steps and progress up to where we will be running." This from some who have been studying the Word of God for many years.

"The Battle of Armageddon is chiefly over the moeds."

"The statutes take care of themselves as the student will recognize that there are other statutes besides the feast days."

"If we are true in heart we will be keeping the statutes by living exclusively for Yashua."

These comments come about many different topics. My latest concern is that the Annual Sabbaths seem to be the only part of the statutes to which most pay attention. I have been studying all the statutes. I have found that it is difficult to identify all the statutes. There is an excellent book:

www.LightedWay.org/Statutes

This book leaves out some statutes. Statutes related to sacrifice and temple services do not apply because the Messiah was the final sacrifice and the temple of God is now in heaven and in our hearts. The current results of my studies can be found at:

www.IAUA.name/Statutes.html

This is only just started and will be ongoing. I have been studying the statutes a lot for the past couple of weeks and find that it is a more difficult subject than it appears. How does a person take into account the cultural, historical, geographical, chronological, and other differences? Not a simpe subject.

When can we be satisfied with "Good enough"?

Matthew 25:21

His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

The attitude of "Good enough" is common in the world today. Drug testing meets a standard of "Good enough". People get upset though when they start getting sick and dying from those drugs. The FDA says that if only a few people get sick or die that it is "Good enough". What do you think, if one of those people is your child?

Deuteronomy 6:5

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

The Lord says "Well done" to the saints at His return. Some people act like they expect to enter heaven with a "Good enough". Will they?

Peace, in the name of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah the son of God.

Shabbat Shalom
