Dear Brothers and Sisters in
IAUA
(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. Reader comment: ----- I just wanted to let you know, that I too stayed away from the church for offenses committed and had little respect for the conference leaders. I can't remember if I told you this or not but if I did, just bear with me, remember, I'm getting old. Anyway, when we, (5 of us) left, I knew that this church was headed downward as far as members would go, and it did. But when I heard that it was going to close, I was heart broken, I thought of what an insult to God, and what a terrible witness for the truth. So I prayed , asked forgiveness for my selfishness and prayed that He would build His church back up, for a witness to this community. So I went back to church, and it was not easy, no one had come and asked me to come back, but they were pleasant to me when I did. I began at that time to do what I could for the church. I began to be the one to clean it each and every week because the members were so few that the ladies that had the job worked and it was a hardship on them. I volunteered for other jobs too and they have not ceased to thank me for all that I do for the church. I decided that I would continue to keep the Feasts, but would not bring it up to them, they already know that I keep them and I am not going to beat them over the head with it. Now it is between them and the Holy Spirit. I don't know either if the Feast Days are a test, I only know for me, it seems so clear as to their importance and that they have not been done away with. I will continue to uplift this church because with all its flaws ( since I have a lot of flaws too) it is still God's church until He says it isn't anymore. I guess why I am writing is to let you know, I know what you are going through as far as feelings of love for His church, feeble though it is. ----- My response: ----- Thank you for your encouragement. ----- May we all find peace and unity in the soon coming of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
