Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath. I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord.

The latest song which has been my source of comfort is based on scripture.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

This verse and also Isaiah 26:3 came to my mind after a particularly desperate season of prayer.

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

I am beginning to experience victory in my battle with despair and depression over my future. It is a constant and painful struggle but I just have to leave the future in God's hands. I live from moment to moment by a continual diet of God's promises.

Pastor Wintley Phipps gave an inspiring sermon at 3ABN camp meeting on the power of God to provide. I was able to tape this one and I have already watched it a second time. It is a powerful source of inspiration and comfort as I struggle with concern for my future.

The pastor has set a tentative baptism date of June 25 for my wife and me. He is a little concerned that we will end up moving away before He gets the chance to baptize us. I don't know where we will be living at that date but I am sure that God will provide.

The news is continually filled with natural disasters one after another. There has been anothe large landslide in California. There is a major volcano eruption in Mexico. Tokyo has been hit with a series of three earthquakes. I continue to follow the status of Mount St. Helens.

USGS Updated Wednesday, June 01, 2005 @ 9:40 am PDT - Clouds continue to obscure views of the lava dome, but there have been no significant changes in rates of seismicity or ground deformation during the past few days. The GPS unit on the older part of the new dome near the vent continues to move northward (not southward as stated yesterday) at slightly more than 6 inches per day, eastward at about 18 inches per day, and to rise vertically a few inches per day.

My prayer is that the Lord will return soon and put an end to the pain and sufferings caused by sin on this earth.

May we all find peace and unity in the soon coming of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.

Shabbat Shalom
