Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath. I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord.

"Keep On Keeping On" is the title of a book my Mother gave me to read. It is certainly the advice I need to follow.

A reader was concerned about our situation and offered some financial assistance.

My reply:

-----

Thank you very much for your offer. Our problem is not financial. Don't concern yourself about that. The difficulty is that God has been sending us signals that leave us uncertain of our direction for the future. We can't make a move until He directs. It has been very trying but we struggle to have faith and trust in His good intentions for us. Every time we are ready to select a place to live He points us in a different direction. At this time we can't find a house in PA or IL until we know whether I have a job here or not. He has a reason for this I am sure.

Another reader says:

-----

I was so glad to hear from you, I missed getting your e-mail last week. Will it be a problem for you since you keep feast days and also use a different name for God than the general population of SDA's? Hope not. If I were to send you a snail mail letter, where would I send it to. The Lord will guide that is for sure, this might be just where he wants you to be. What will your wife do about her job though, can she get another one like it in Ill.? I am hoping and praying for you.

-----

My reply:

-----

I don't think the name of IAUA is a requirement to be used. It is only my best understanding of the name of God. I hope you didn't think I thought it was otherwise.

People of many different beliefs and religions work for 3ABN. I anticipate no problem whatsoever with observing the feast days. Seven vacations days a year should not cause any controversy as does the weekly Sabbath for non-observing employers.

I have no reliable address for snail mail. I don't know where my wife and I will be from one week to the next. At this point in time we have no earthly home. We fix our sights on that heavenly home which waits for us. I will attempt to stay in contact by email but that cannot be guaranteed either.

-----

One person at 3ABN asked if I was Jewish when they noticed that I was wearing tzitzit. I told them no, I am a Seventh-day Adventist. I have been studying the Jewish roots of Christianity and was impressed by the commands of God to the children of Israel to wear tassels on their clothing.

May we all find peace and unity in the soon coming of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.

Shabbat Shalom
