Dear Brothers and Sisters in
IAUA
(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly sabbath. I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. At 3ABN there is worship in every department every morning. On Tuesday there is corporate worship of all who are on site in one of the large studios. Various people volunteer to present a short talk from the Bible. This Tuesday there was a fascinating presentation about the difference between God's reality and Satan's reality. The gist of the presentation was that Satan presents a view of the world that many buy into. Even to Christians he presents a view of a world that is harsh, difficult, and burdensome. When Christians accept this view of the world they become discouraged, downcast, and sorrowful. God presents a different view of the world. James says:
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Peter says:
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
and continues:
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
then concludes:
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
John gets the final word:
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
These words comfort us that it is indeed hard to go through trials. We may be tempted to discouragement but keep the faith.
12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Does your attitude need a reality check? May we all find peace and unity in the soon coming of IAUShUO (Ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God. Shabbat Shalom
