Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-uh-oo-uh) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray that this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the 13th day of the 1st month of God's Sacred Calendar in the year 6012 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Holy Days begin tomorrow with Passover and the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month in the year 6012 Anno Mundi, which is the first Unleavened Bread Sabbath (Sunset on Saturday, March 22 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). Catholics who celebrate Easter will be observing the yearly Sabbath in an apostate form, definitely not in the proper intent or spirit.

The evening of the 21st day of the 1st month is the second Unleavened Bread Sabbath (Sunset on Friday, March 28 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). On this particular yearly Sabbath all those who keep the weekly Sabbath will be observing the yearly Sabbath in form, if not in the proper intent or spirit.

The evening of the 6th day of the 3rd month is Pentecost Sabbath (Sunset on Sunday, May 11 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). I pray that this may be the time for the special outpouring of the Holy Spirit in power and truth on the 144,000 to prepare the world for the final judgment.

It is highly appropriate that tomorrow, on Passover, my home church is observing Communion. This observance was linked to the Passover by the Messiah. It is quite certain that the church did not intend it this way. It is unfortunate that it is probable that it was intended to coincide with the Catholic observance of Easter the following day. In years past there have been Easter observances announced in the church.

It is no surprise that the coincidence of observing a Communion associated with Easter falls on a Passover. Easter itself in its original conception was designed to fall on the Sunday after Passover. You may refer to the SDA Bible Commentary and Catholic Doctrine to verify this fact. The intent was to attract pagans to an observance on Sunday that could also be used as a way to attract believers away from continuing the observance of God's Law as He described it. This was met with great resistance as documented in the SDA Bible Commentary.

Along with the commanded observance to abstain from yeast in general and leavened bread in particular it is important to use this as a time of remembrance. The observance of the communion at this time is particularly appropriate.

Luke 22:13-20
13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

There is so much in Leviticus 23 and this particular yearly Sabbath which was and is prophetic, instructional, and memorial. Leviticus 23 is only a summary of the feast days but provides a clear instructional framework for proper observance and memorial.

The sacrifice of the lamb on Passover symbolized the sacrifice of the Messiah for our sins. His sacrifice on Golgotha occurred at the exact day and time prophesied.

The first Unleavened Bread Sabbath is commanded as a day of rest. How appropriate this is as a symbolic memorial of the Messiah resting in the tomb. It was especially appropriate that in that year the yearly Sabbath was the same day as the weekly Sabbath. The creator of the world rested in the tomb on the same day He commanded rest as a memorial to his creation.

The day after the yearly Sabbath was the Wave Sheath.

Leviticus 23:9-11
9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

These firstfruits of the early harvest represent the Messiah Himself as the first fruit of the resurrection after His sacrifice. The sequence of Passover, Unleavened Bread Sabbath, and the Wave Sheaf symbolizing the resurrection on the day after the Yearly Sabbath (and weekly Sabbath) is the absolute answer to those who accept the truth of the Bible on which day of the week the sacrifice of the Messiah occurred.

There is of course the deception of Satan that teaches that the Sabbath referred to in verse 11 is the weekly Sabbath and not the yearly Sabbath. This would place the Wave Sheath as always on a Sunday. This also denies the place of the yearly Sabbaths as equal and complimentary to the weekly Sabbath.

The benefit of the experience of pondering and observing these things is a great blessing to those who will follow the plain word of the Bible. I have had a great experience just writing about these things. The most powerful and true experience is based on principle and truth.

Satan creates a deadly counterfeit by appealing to emotions and feelings to create a religious experience. Many times I have observed people who attempt to stimulate physical demonstrations, appeal to feelings, inflame emotion and passion to create a religious experience. Some times these things create a false illusion of religious fervor.

True religious fervor results from embracing truth and following principle. The Holy Spirit fills the heart of those who are following God in truth. It is a different spirit which fills the heart as a result of appeals to feelings before principle. It is a false spirit which talks of love for God separate from obedience to His will.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Will you benefit from a true experience based on principle and truth in the observance of God's Holy Days?

I pray that we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-uh-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.

Shabbat Shalom,
