Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-uh-oo-uh) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray that this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the 12th day of the 7th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the year 6012 Anno Mundi. It is two days until the evening of the 15th day of the 7th month which is Tabernacles Sabbath (September 15, beginning sunset on Sunday, September 14 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). It is one week and two days until the evening of the 22nd day of the 7th month which is Last Day Sabbath (September 22, beginning sunset on Sunday, September 21 on the 2008 Gregorian calendar). _____ This is the second part of a presentation by the ShipOfTheWest.com ministry defending the wearing of the tassels. These are some observations that I thought would be valuable to share. I remind you that these are not my words and I may not agree with every particular of what is said. I believe it is valuable to be respectful and considerate by not nitpicking little details. Next week will be part three. _____ The abused prophet I have observed that the prophet who has suffered the greatest abuse throughout this sinful age has been Moses. While on this earth, no one was able to successfully undermine his authority. But Moses knew that hostility against his teachings still existed within the camp and remarked, “I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you.”(Deuteronomy 31:29) Now, after thirty five hundred years, his authority is seen by the majority of the Church as secondary in importance to the “newer models” of prophets and apostles. But the religious world is about to find out that this is not how a certain sect of people treat his writings. They believe that Y.H.W.H. established Moses as the dominant spokesmen and all prophets thereafter must yield to the statutes and commandments as written by Moses. So how do we retain the integrity of Ellen’s writings (the lesser light) about tassels in respect to the greater and clearer light found in the instructions of Moses? The answer may lie in the following verse, “You are not to do as we do here today, everyone as he sees fit…” (Deuteronomy 12:8) Well now, that is interesting! It sounds a little bit like Ellen’s sentiments “The people of God are not now required…” It appears that the instructions or “Law” as it is referred to today is not static in a legalistic sense, it is dynamic! And when certain conditions are met, the dormant portions of the instructions (or Law) are able to become active. When Ellen said that the people of God “were not now required”, she didn’t not mean that it would never under any circumstances be required. She was simply indicating that the time had not yet come for the people to advance to the commandment in her day. This validates in my mind that truth is progressive. So now the question arises, what conditions must be met in order for the church to see the return of the healing wings? (Tassels) The right conditions “Y.H.W.H. said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.” (Numbers 15:37) By taking the word of God literally; and without employing any symbolism (since no symbolism here was used) Y.H.W.H. indicates that Israelites are specifically commanded to wear tassels throughout all of their generations. This means that if you are a descendant of Israel, then you are commanded to wear the tassels and you would be doing this for your own good. But as I have mentioned, Moses indicated that the people would rebel against the simple instructions as soon as he died. The easiest way to rebel and make of none effect his writings is to say that in this day and age, the commandments that Moses taught are not literal, they are spiritual. But what does this mean? Imagine this scenario, you have just asked your teenaged child to vacuum the floor of the living room. An hour later you return to the living room and to your surprise, you see the teenager sitting on the couch watching T.V. and the floor is in the same state it was before you uttered your commandment. Certainly you would express your disappointment and your disappointment would be clearly heard by the tone of your voice. But what would happen if your teenager said, “But I am vacuuming the floor, I’m just vacuuming the floor spiritually.” Would you commend the teenager for his rebellious attitude or send him to his room? “Hallelujah!”, the rebels say “I am a spiritual Israelite!”, so let me put on some spiritual tassels”. And while I’m at it, why not keep the Sabbath and the Holydays spiritually!” Is this the spirit of true worship of the spirit of rebellion? So God, like the father presented in the illustration has to rise up and humble the pride of the rebels by bringing down literal curses for spiritualizing away His clearly spoken word. We know that God’s word does not come back to him void and that His word will accomplish everything he has spoken. He doesn’t need any denominations help by manipulating His word in such away to call themselves spiritual Israel when the really are not. "I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not." (Revelation 2:9) The chuch can end the rebellion against Moses by taking his word as it is written. And if this is done, the church. the world, and even the Israelites themselves will see that Israel is still composed of "twelve tribes which are scattered abroad". (James 1:1) Israel is alive! Like Joseph of old, Israel is still alive. Just as Jacob adjusted himself to live in a world without Joseph; so also has the church grown accustomed to live in a world without Israel. To Jacob, the name Joseph became a byword, a pleasant memory of the past. As Joseph was sold to the nations and mistreated as slave for many years. So Israel has been sold by Y.H.W.H. to the nations and mistreated for nearly three millennium. And as famine and distress came upon Jacob in his last days, news came that Joseph was alive and well. Not only alive and well but alive and well off! Joseph came at the right time to preserve the remnant of Jacobs seed. And in the same way, a time of great distress is coming for the church, She is about to assisted by 144,000 descendents of Israel, who, according to the word of God, are going to rise up and bless all nations. We are about to see 144,000 “Josephs” as it were, brought out of his prison where he has been held in bondage. As Joseph was brought to pharaoh to interpret dreams, so will the 144,000 be brought before the world to interpret dreams, to gain the confidence of Kings, and to assist all nations prepare for a great time of trouble such as never was. If we could only see the paths where Israel has been scattered and the difficulties he has endured, we would be appalled. But these circumstances were necessary to fashion Israel for greatness, just as the terrible calamities helped fashion Joseph for his great work. Y.H.W.H. has slowly and methodically worked to accomplish the fulfillment of His plan. If we purge the symbolic pollution of “spiritual Israel” from our minds, we can see how His plan was to unfold. This can be done by carefully examining the prophecies written by Moses and then apply the worlds of later prophets. As we do so, we will find that the 144,000 of Israel have been strategically placed into areas that the Christian church could not dream of entering. This has been done so that the work can be completed swiftly at His command. And when Y.H.W.H. commands Israel to arise, they will be wearing “tassels” in order to fulfill the prophecy, “This is what the LORD Almighty says: "In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, 'Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.” (Zechariah 8:23) _____ Is your heart filled with the desire to follow God's leading when His truth is revealed? I pray that we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-uh-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
