Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-uh-oo-uh) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of the Lord. This is the 2nd day of the 9th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the year 6012 Anno Mundi. It is about five months until the Spring Sabbaths begin with the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month which is the first Unleavened Bread Sabbath (Saturday, April 11 on the 2009 Gregorian calendar, beginning sunset on Friday, April 10). _____ We have come to the end of what has, for me, been an amazing two months. It may seem like a simple, maybe even silly, thing to you. The days of the month on the Gregorian calendar matched the day of the month on God's Sacred Calendar. I had a strange sense of being more in tune with God's creation through the phases of the moon being matched to the day of the month. When I thought of the day of the month I knew what phase the moon was in and could observe it in the sky and the reverse was also true. Do you understand what I mean? I received an email through my website which is an interesting illustration of the dangers to truth and doctrinal purity I have observed around me. The preservation of doctrinal purity is the primary purpose of my ministry. _____ Dear Friend I've see you website and thought that you might be interested in a study about the seventh day Sabbath, please take a look and let me know what you have to say on the matter. I know that the good Lord led me in this study, so please read and if you see where I've gone wrong correct me with the word of God. Your Friend in Christ XXX _____ Attached to this email was a 27(!) page document describing a strange new doctrine that the Sabbath is to be observed for only 12 hours. I have included only a small part of it so that you can see the basis of the delusion. This is a case of taking essentially a single verse and making a doctrine of it. It begins by twisting the meaning and with a complicated string of logic and misapplied supporting texts "proving" this strange new doctrine. This is the same thing that has been done with Colossians 2:14 creating the contrary doctrine: "The Law of Moses has been nailed to the cross." This is in spite of the direct contradiction with texts such as Malachi 4:4. _____ THE TRUE BLUE SABBATH This study came about because of what I found in John 11:9-10. As I was reading through this text I thought to myself how can this be, I’ve been taught that there’s twenty four hours in the day, but here Jesus is saying there’s twelve? To tell you the truth this text took me by surprise, and from that moment on I’ve been very interested in what the rest of Gods word has to say on this topic. And as I studied further I discovered that the seventh day Sabbath Starts at the beginning of day light on the seventh day, and continues until dark. So if this interests you, please read on and see for yourself what the word of God has to say. I also address Mrs. White’s vision of 1855 which deals with the seventh day Sabbath; you’ll see that it ties in perfectly with the twelve hour day found in the word of God.
John 11:9-10 (NKJV)
Here in John 11:9-10 Jesus makes a distinction between the day and the night. He gives a very simplistic definition for the day, saying that its twelve hours of light, and that it’s this light that enables a man not to stumble. He then goes on to define the night with its darkness, saying it’s because of this darkness that one will stumble, and by so doing brings to light their contrasting characteristics. By addressing their obvious differences Jesus reveals how darkness is not a part of the day since there’s no light in it. So if the day is defined only by light then its length would be twelve hours. But man disagrees stating that the length of a day is not solely based on the light of day, but also the dark of night, only by combining the two is a full day achieved, the combination of the two completes a full rotation of the earth and in so doing gives the day it’s true definition. So let’s go to Geneses 1:1-5, and take a look at how God defines a day and the night. ... _____ Dear Brother XXX, I read your document with great sadness. I have heard from many who propose unusual "new", "original" ideas. These ideas are not new or original but have their origin with the father of lies: John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. It is far too late in earth's history to be coming up with supposed doctrines which are not taught by the Word of God and the witness of thousands of years of human history of those following the will of God to the best of their ability. Many have followed God and been inspired by Him and yet this supposed doctrine was not known by any of them. You have taken basically a single verse with an obvious interpretation and have come up with an alternate interpretation which you then back up with supposition and conjecture. There is an obvious interpretation of the words of Christ: John 11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. He is referring to "daylight'. It is common in Hebrew and English to use the word day to refer to both daylight and the 24 hour day. God does not lead us into confusion. I Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Your attempt to twist the words of creation to support your new doctrine. Consider the plain fact that there was no sun until the fourth day. So what does that do to all your fancy words. I beg you brother to return to a love of God's truth and seek not after your own fanciful doctrines nor follow the evil doctrines of others.

I pray that you will seek earnestly the truth of God and submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
