Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-uh-oo-uh) our Father,

I have had many people [respond to Monday's newsletter and] point out to me Ellen White also says the two witnesses are the Old and New Testament. I have not seen or researched an actual quote but it does not surprise or dismay me. As I have stated on the website and in my book (supported by a quote from Ellen White), no one except God is infallible (without error) and no one except God is Omniscient (knows everything).

I have agreed with the recognition of the Bible as the witness. I am expanding the level of detail beyond the simplistic recognition of the two parts to a deeper meaning. Greater understanding is to be expected as we get closer to the end. If we are afraid to move beyond the understanding of the church in the 1900's then we will surely remain Laodicean and lost if we refuse to move forward as the Holy Spirit leads.

The following email is a valuable addition to the words in my newsletter. I submit this for your consideration.

Be at peace,

Frank T. Clark - When the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth and he will show you things to come. John 16:13 (paraphrased)

I don't know if I've heard it before, but I was mightily impressed with the application of the two witnesses being the law and the prophets. As soon as you said it, this passage came to mind:

Luke 16:29-31 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. (30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. (31) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Of course, Jesus was also prophesying on His own behalf, for He would surely rise from the dead and many still would not believe. This is further proof that if one will not hear Moses and the prophets, then they won't hear the One about whom Moses and the prophets spake -- the former as an example in type, and the later in actual prophesy.
