Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 21st day of the 6th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6013 Anno Mundi.

It is 1 week and one day until the Fall Sabbaths begin with Trumpets Sabbath on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Sunday, September 20 on the 2009 Gregorian calendar, beginning sunset on Saturday, September 19).

This year, those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination agree with my understanding of the Gregorian Calendar dates for God's Sacred Calendar. The dates on the apostate Jewish Calendar are two days earlier in the spring and one day early in the fall.

_____

There were many responses to my previous newsletter. All were negative. My list of contacts to which I send the newsletter has decreased quite a bit. Some names I removed because of the tone of the response. My purpose for this newsletter is to share my studies and observations. I welcome discussion and feedback. When people get upset with me for sharing my thoughts and tell me that I upset them, I recognize that a spirit of open discussion does not exist.

Some have commented that the tone of the links I provided was very rude and the ideas presented went to unreasonable extremes. I expressed my reluctance to share the links and I warned you the tone of the articles is sometimes a little shrill and harsh. I believe there were valuable ideas presented which the discerning student of the Bible can separate from those less valuable.

II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I agree it is sad when anyone goes around bashing other people because their understanding and practice is different. However, there are times when we must witness to our belief and understanding in the most gentle way we can. When people are not interested in what we have to say it is not appropriate to force them to listen. When there is opportunity to witness we must be appropriate. This newsletter is my opportunity for those who are willing to listen. I will not force anyone to listen who expresses displeasure at my attempts. I pray you may sense a spirit which is learning to be gentle under the molding of the Holy Spirit.

One reader calmly and politely indicated they disagreed with my understanding. This was a welcome relief. They provided a link to a website analyzing the verses mentioned from a different perspective.

While reviewing the content of this website I was reminded of an observation of a pattern I have noted. It is interesting how some Sabbath-keepers criticize those who find excuses for not following the Fourth Commandment of the Law of God with which they do agree. Then, these same Sabbath-keepers make excuses for ignoring the parts of the Law of God (Law of Moses) with which they do not agree. Then I notice some feast-keepers who criticize those who find excuses against keeping the part of the Law of Moses with which they agree. Then, these same feast-keepers turn around and do the same thing by making excuses for ignoring the parts of the Law of Moses with which they do not agree.

I do the best I can to faithfully follow all the Law of God to the best of my understanding with no excuses. I continually study to increase my understanding and carefully consider the teachings of others on the subject. I must submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in my life. I am very cautious to avoid ignoring the voice of God.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

I try hard to avoid a critical spirit but I cannot avoid speaking the truth I observe and understand. I try hard to avoid a spirit of judgment. I pray you may sense a spirit which is learning to be gentle under the molding of the Holy Spirit.

One person said, among other things, "Your implication is that if you cut your whiskers, at all, it is a sin -- yet, if you don't cut the hair on top of your head, then that, too, is a sin."

My response:

_____

Any implication of sin is your implication, not mine. I said:

"This my personal witness to my own understanding of applying the principles of God to my appearance. "

Why do you wish to twist what I said into words I did not say? When I said:

"It is appropriate to trim, comb, and arrange the hair for neatness and attractiveness."

I was referring to all hair. I never said anything to support the typical Jewish extreme of never cutting the hair/beard. Why would you assume such a thing when my picture clearly shows I trim my hair/beard?

On the surface and a careful study of the Bible verses presented clearly indicates a violent and complete destruction of the hair/beard by shaving is not according to God's direction. I cannot ignore the word of God in this matter just because it is not popular.

_____

I hope that all will carefully consider my words and not take them in a manner in which it was not intended. These are my studies and understanding. If you do not wish to hear from me let me know and I will not force myself on you. It is absolutely clear a person is not judged according to what they do not know and understand. This is what I know and understand.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Are you continually seeking to know and understand more of the Word of God?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
