Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 12th day of the 12th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6013 Anno Mundi.

It is 4 weeks and 5 days until the Spring Sabbaths begin on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Wednesday, March 31 on the 2010 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Tuesday, March 30).

This year, those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination will be one month later than my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates for God's Sacred Calendar. The dates on the Jewish Calendar are one day earlier in the spring and one day early in the fall.

_____

As I continue working on the chapter "Prophetic Context" in the next book "Third Elijah Message", I will create capsules of the content under development to serve as newsletters. I have also modified the wording on the website to acknowledge the newsletters are the same type of content which people are now calling blogs. Each newsletter is the same as a weekly blog entry. The Newsletter Archive is the same as a Blog.

There is much I will be saying in the book about the prophetic context of the Third Elijah Message which is also our current context. This may become the biggest chapter of the book. I have also revised the color version of the chart with more color coding in the text to clarify the information with color groups. I have kept the charts at a fairly high resolution (5" x 8", 300 dpi) for clear display even though it makes the download a little large.

There is a major change where I have added a star to show where I believe we are in the timeline. The understanding of the Third Elijah Message is growing to its peak at the appearance of the Elijah prophet. We are experiencing the first light of dawn for the end of time.

In this newsletter (blog entry) I am going to dig deeply into the outpouring of the Holy Spirit which is widely talked about and discussed. I believe there are some serious misunderstandings about the work of the Holy Spirit in the Latter Rain. We will begin this study in the book of Joel. A careful reading of the whole book would be a valuable preparation for this study.

The book of Joel opens with a scene of utter destruction and waste. I believe this is the scene at the end of time and there is a lot of symbolism which refers to the devastation of God's word, the corruption of God's people, and the uprising of evil. The talk of starvation and drought has a clear underlying spiritual symbolism and last days component.

Joel 1:14-15
14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

The deep student of the Bible clearly recognizes the reference to Atonement Sabbath. There is also the symbolism of Trumpets Sabbath and repeated mentions of the day of the Lord which reminds us of Malachi 4.

Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

There is a clear message of repentance which comes to the followers of God when confronted with truth. This message is accepted by the humble and rejected by the proud who believe they have all they need.

Joel 2:12-13
12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

The focus continues on the observance of the yearly Sabbaths.

Joel 2:15-16
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Think carefully about symbolism. Is the real need during the great and dreadful day of the Lord for rain and food? Many recognize this as a reference to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the Latter Rain. Is not wheat symbolic of a spiritual food, wine and oil the spiritual preparation of the Holy Spirit?

Joel 2:23-24
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Is not the rain also doctrine?

Deuteronomy 32:2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

The focus of the Latter Rain (Pentecost) is often only on the physical manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Joel indicates these things come afterward.

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

The disciples spent years studying truth under the guidance of the Messiah before Pentecost came. Will we experience Pentecost if we do not have a similar powerful learning and growing experience?

Many recognize the first Pentecost was at Sinai. What did we see there? The giving of the Commandments and an outpouring of doctrine!

Are you growing in understanding in this first phase of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in doctrine to be ready to participate in the second phase of the manifestation of power?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
