I have been so busy and worn out with my full-time job and its stresses, I have not been able to keep up with my part-time ministry. These additional questions and comments on the Equinox will be of value to you. The individual is a follower of the Millerite determination. _____ On your letter here, I know you don't agree with us on the timing, however, my question is...why would you call it a signal (equinox) and yet begin the year before that signal? How would you know? Just because you know when it is so you can choose before? I'm just wondering. Anyway...maybe back then they just always knew when it was, too, and didn't have to "see" a signal, just knowing was okay. _____ My response: As I tried to explain in the newsletter, the Millerite determination assumes the signal points to the first day of the first month. My studies compel me to believe the signal points to the first yearly Sabbath on the 15th day of the month. Advance calculation of upcoming astronomical events was well within the capabilities of the superior intellect of the patriarchs.
