Dear Brothers and Sisters in
IAUA
(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 14th day of the 3rd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi. It is 15 weeks until the Fall Sabbaths begin with Trumpets Sabbath on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Friday, September 10 on the 2010 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Thursday, September 9th). This year, those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination will be one month later than my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The dates on the Jewish Calendar are one day earlier in the spring and one day early in the fall. _____ The controversy rages on about the literal, six-day, recent creation and the worldwide flood. Dramatic events are occurring. La Sierra University is being rejected by the Michigan Conference as an approved Adventist school.
Michigan Conference Executive Committee Actions voted May 25, 2010
Michigan has also requested this controversy be addressed at the General Conference Session. This may be very explosive. One of many useful background documents about the controversy.
A Brief History of SDA Fundamental Belief #6
I am updating my Statement of Beliefs with these important details. These are the beliefs of an ultra-conservative Seventh-day Adventist who believes in a literal understanding of the Bible account of Creation and the Flood. God created the entire universe from nothing. 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. God created the universe in six literal days of approximately 24 hours and on the seventh day He rested. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. The duration of sin and death in the universe is approximately six thousand years followed by a thousand years of rest on the earth while the righteous are in heaven. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The entire world was destroyed by flood, because of sin, except for eight people and a sampling of the world's animals which were preserved by God in the ark. 17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. Do you accept the Bible account of creation and the flood as factual and literal? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
