The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 29th day of the 7th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths are past and the Spring Sabbaths begin in seven months with Unleavened Bread on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 19th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Monday, April18th).

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination agree with what my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The dates on the Jewish Calendar also agree!

_____

Rarely more than a day goes by where I do not see some sign of the struggle which continues over obedience to the Word of God. The Holy Spirit and another spirit are actively reaching out to the minds of men and women to draw them into the battle. The battle lines are being drawn and the conflict is escalating.

A typical experience, which occurred a few days ago. I was walking with a person in the hallway at church and greeted them. They said they had just been thinking about me that morning. They had a question they wished to discuss with me. I said I was eager to get together any time and suggested at fellowship dinner or Sabbath afternoon.

At fellowship dinner we discussed issues in the church and as you would assume, the discussion turned to the Law of Moses and the yearly Sabbaths. There was a lot of interest in the subject and the discussion was lively for a couple of hours. Near the end of the discussion as we talked about the reaction of the church to those who practice all of God's Law, I sensed a concern growing and a distraction of thoughts about what it would mean to agree to these beliefs.

I provided copies of my books for later reading. I don't know what the end result will be. The results are in the hands of the Holy Spirit and the individuals choice. I sensed breaking with Adventist tradition and stepping out to follow unpopular truth was going to be a bitter pill to swallow.

Another individual mentioned in a previous newsletter from an Atonement Sabbath email has responded with websites and quotes from detractors of the feasts and the importance of the name of God. I sense they are following more of what other people say rather than making a determination of truth from studying the Word.

_____

One of the emails:

http://www.remnantofgod.org/Yah-feast.htm

This seems pretty accurate and well researched?

_____

I responded:

I have encouraged you to study the Bible for yourself and given you some guidance to get started. I hope you do not console yourself with the teachings of others. Those who do not wish to obey the guidance of God will find many reasons why they don't need to. It requires careful prayer for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and study to learn the truth for yourself. I could point out the errors in the presentation but the only thing which will work for you is to find the truth for yourself.

Are you only passing out the ideas of others or do you know the truth for yourself?

_____

They responded with more websites and more words from other people:

I have a lot of time for this man (Lynnford) and his Bible knowledge, but also people like Ellen G. White (who by the way I have never read where she teaches that we are to keep these days and call Jesus any other name but Jesus and she was God's messenger for 70 years) and David Clayton from Jamaica. I often ask these men for info but everything they tell me they prove from the Bible their newsletters I get every month. I think I also found Mark Woodman's article on this and if I can find it will send it. So, I have done enough checking I feel on this subject. But thanks anyway.

_____

I responded:

I shall remove you from my mailing list so you will not be confronted with conflicting views. I certainly do not wish to push what I read from the Bible on anyone.

_____

My primary focus is always to lead other people to study the Bible for themselves. Another person has criticized me for not taking a harder position on the ideas I present. They disagree with the use of the word God and Elijah at all. They insist I should push all ideas on people at the same time and warned me of being seen as a leader by others and leading them astray.

_____

Part of my response:

I recognize a problem I have often observed in others where the patience and mercy of the Heavenly Father is ignored and we attempt to place a more strict rule on others than the Father does.

The Saviour clearly stated and demonstrated there are important issues which must come first (love and mercy) and details which come later.

The Father is in charge and all are responsible to the Father and not me. Anyone who attempts to change this order is responsible for their own actions. I do not accept responsibility for another person's choices. I look to the Holy Spirit for guidance as everyone else should also.

The Father and the Son have patience and mercy to lead us forward step by step and allow us the time to learn and grow. I follow their example.

_____

Are you interested in studying the Bible to learn for yourself or are you comfortable with the pre-digested and packaged ideas of others?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
