Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 28th day of the 8th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths are past and the Spring Sabbaths begin in 23 weeks and 3 days with Unleavened Bread on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 19th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Monday, April 18th).

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination agree with what my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar and the dates on the Jewish Calendar also agree!

A newsletter reader writes:

Happy Sabbath Frank:

Got any good proof texts for the divinity of yahshua? I may have a chance to address this subject to some folks who keep the Sabbath and the feasts ,but do not believe that Yahshua was divine or equal with the Father! Don't bother with Phill. 2:6.... they say that 2:6 is not in the received text.

These guys are very nice and gracious and help others ,but they play quite a hearty game of basket ball after Sab potluck.

I responded:

Thank you for writing.

I don't attempt to reach people with such a belief. Since I have no doubt of this truth, I have not studied deeply on proofs for that particular subject. I am not a theologian so I can't provide such a thing off the top of my head. You will be able to find something with study as well as I can.

My experience has been that people who have a cherished belief will not accept any text which denies their belief. I don't attempt to prove anything. I present Biblical evidence on topics I have studied where confusion exists. The evidence is either accepted or not. I am happy to explain but not to argue.

I have been pondering your question. I have come to a realization we need to continue to revisit the basics of our faith to refresh our understanding and belief. We must always grow into a deeper understanding and faith but we must also continue to maintain the foundation. The first passage which came to mind concerning the divinity of the Messiah is John 1. This is the most powerful witness. I have quoted some verses here. The entire chapter is valuable for careful reading and meditation.

John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Those who do not want to believe will argue over words and meanings. There is no value in trying to convince people of truth they are not willing to believe. Offer your witness and leave it to the Holy Spirit.

II Timothy 2:14-16
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Be at peace,

It is sad there is so much confusion in the world. Satan has fought greatly against truth but God has the last word and those who have a love of truth will go on for eternity when all those who have not a love of the truth are gone forever.

Sometimes a flicker of concern flashes through my mind asking why I am so much out of step with the church and the world around me. I fly to the Rock and the Word and read deeply of God's reminders there of His truth. It is there so plainly to those who are willing to accept what the Word says rather than twist it to what they want to believe. I am comforted by the Word of God and commit myself to doing what it says no matter what.

Acts 4:18-20
18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

I have not seen what Peter saw but I have his testimony and the testimony of God whom I choose to obey.

Acts 5:28-29
28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

I choose to serve IAUA and stand by the side of the great patriarchs of faith recorded in the Bible. I have put away the gods of pagan holy days.

Joshua 24:14-15
14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

I choose to be a part of those who follow the truth no matter where it leads them.

Revelation 14:3-5
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Will you follow the Lamb wherever He goes?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
