Dear Brothers and Sisters in
IAUA
(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 19th day of the 9th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi. The New Year begins with the Spring Sabbaths in 20 weeks and 3 days with the first Sabbath of Unleavened Bread on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 19th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Monday, April 18th). An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination agree with what my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar and the dates on the Jewish Calendar also agree! _____ An unfinished transcript is available. http://www.iaua.info/Archives/TLB010526.html This is part two of the Final Crisis presentation. http://www.iaua.info/Archives/2010-08-20.html _____ A newsletter reader writes: I was recently contemplating your belief about using and pronouncing the name of the Heavenly Father as IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) and I was recently reading Rev 14. I am not so sure that God does require this, especially in light of verse 6: And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people... It makes sense to me that God not only winks at our ignorances but also will not discriminate against us if we do not call Him by a certain name. Also, God and His Son are both called by many names. _____ I responded: Thanks you for writing and commenting. The use of the word "requires" raises so many questions and issues it is mind draining. But first let me clearly say I agree completely. I hope I never said anything to indicate otherwise. I hope you are assuming something I have not said. This is one of the things I have said:
"Please do not misunderstand my zeal, eagerness, and
enthusiasm in presenting this subject. I believe it is valuable to
know and use IAUA as the Sacred Name of God. I do not believe
God condemns anyone for their understanding or practice. I am
presenting ideas for you to consider." I do indeed believe it is very important. Unlike the way many other people approach Biblical subjects, I do not look at the concepts which are a part of our faith as "requirements". Some of them are indeed requirements when IAUA has commanded it. The view of a person who has received the love of God in their hearts is completely different. Consider the analogy seen is this question. Are your actions toward your wife based on your love for her or whether she will leave you if you don't perform certain "requirements"? Is our relationship to our Father any different? _____ The newsletter reader continues: Yep, I misunderstood. Not sure where I got that idea from. So then we agree. And I will continue to study the nature of God for the rest of my life and perhaps for all eternity! _____ I responded: It is easy to assume because some people are forceful in saying you must use their understanding of the name of God. Some people can even get nasty and sarcastic if you don't do what they think should be done. This is not the Spirit of our Saviour. I hope and pray I will never appear to act that way. _____ What is in a name? On the positive side, a name identifies a person or creates a label which helps us to visualize an entire set of ideas without describing each idea. On the negative side, a label can cause unintended ideas to be projected which may not be correct. Over time, a name can accumulate ideas which confuse its purpose or change it completely. A name can acquire a positive association and reputation to some people. This is particularly likely to be true for those closely associated with the name. But it is often more likely it will acquire negative associations to the majority of those who only have limited association with the name. There is a common saying, "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." The shortcoming of the saying is a rose is an object and not a person with feelings and intelligence. Our Father is understanding when we do not realize He has a unique personal name or are confused by all the different names which are proposed. He is forgiving when we are more considerate to take the time to learn the name of a person we meet on the street than we are to take the time to learn His name. After saying this I must admit a quandary. I don't know how to respond to someone who rejects knowledge of God's unique personal name. God will certainly have mercy and judge fairly the intents of the heart and the confusion of the mind. The words of God from the prophet Hosea make this statement. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Every person must make their own choices and decisions. I do believe this. There are concepts and understandings which need to come first and are more important than God's Sacred Name. Even David appears to acknowledge the importance of God's Word above His name. Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. The conundrum is this, the Hebrew Bible David read and David's own writings contain the personal name of God repeated over and over. The eight verses of Psalms 138 contains the personal name of God six times. Even verse two says "I will ... praise thy name". How can we fully "praise His name", which we often claim to do, without knowing or using His unique personal name? Your Bible has His personal name removed and replaced with a title. This goes beyond the scope of an accurate translation. Moses warned about changing the words given to him by God. Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD (IAUA) your God which I command you. These words are not in red so they are attributed to John but I think it could be debated these are the words of "the bright and morning star" which are shown in red in verse 16.
Revelation 22:18-19 Do you love God enough to do whatever may please Him? Are you only interested in doing the minimum you believe "salvational" to get you into heaven? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
