IAUA End Time Ministry

Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 15th day of the 12th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.

The New Year begins with the Spring Sabbaths in 8 weeks and 3 days on the first Sabbath of Unleavened Bread starting the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 19th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Monday, April 18th).

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with what my research, and many others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

I have finished my fifth book, "Third Elijah Message", and it is now available at the printers. As always it can be read in full online at the web site www.thirdelijahmessage.info and there is a PDF download. I have been sharing excerpts in the newsletter so you have already read part of it.

My next project focus has been in the works for a couple of weeks. I have been prompted every few months or so by a surprising source asking when I was going to start a Bible Study. They haven't even seen or read my books so I am not sure what is prompting this. They didn't even know I wrote books and I doubt they know anything about my personal ministry.

Next week I will begin a "Present Truth Bible Study Group". I don't recall having mentioned this project yet. There are about ten people who have expressed an interest. I have been organizing my ideas for a group like this online.

How do you view the Sabbath? There have been tidbits of discussion about this subject in the last few weeks and another email discussion. A web site visitor writes:

Jesus makes following statement:

Matthew 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath

Let me ask you, do you believe Jesus announces or states the fact that priests in the temple do really profane the sabbath? Was he stating the fact?

Thanks

_____

I responded:

He was stating the conclusion of their viewpoint. Obviously, they cannot be profaning the Sabbath following the command of God.

I am curious how this question relates to the desire to follow God.

_____

The visitor continues:

in a mean time, i have another question that i would like you to explain, if you'd like.. Matthew 12:2 - 5 - Tell me, was Jesus braking Sabbath and then explained himself? Tell me your position on this verse.

_____

I responded:

He was not breaking the Sabbath. He violated their incorrect understanding of proper observance. He tried to open their eyes to additional understanding and they would not accept it.

_____

The visitor continues:

At this point I am pretty much satisfied with our conversation and I can call it completed. You are not obligated to continue.

I don't have the answers i was looking for though... I was just trying to understand your viewpoint. In fact I disagree with you completely. Jesus reminded them, that priests were braking Sabbath, but Jesus added that they were guiltless.

At this point, from my research it looks very suspiciously as if SDA theology overlooks key explanations of Jesus position about Sabbath. It may be just a very wrong conclusion, but that's why i am asking questions, so to get to the bottom of it.

Basic questions are: Pre-Law Sabbath vs Law Sabbath. Law Sabbath vs Jewish tradition Sabbath. Law Sabbath vs New Testament Sabbath. Law Sabbath vs SDA Sabbath. New Testament Sabbath vs SDA Sabbath.

I would love to see uncomplicated comparison table.

_____

I responded:

I feel no "obligation" to continue but I enjoy the conversation of anyone honestly seeking to understand God as I also seek.

Here is the most accurate comparison of "different" Sabbaths you mention I can make according to my understanding and belief of the Bible.

There is absolutely no difference.

However, SDA tradition and Judaism tradition have observance details and rules which both mean nothing to me. God says don't work and observe a holy convocation.

Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

Iaushua (Jesus) clarified tradition by stating the obvious fact there is nothing wrong with doing good on the Sabbath even though it is technically work.

Mark 3:3-5
3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

I believe it always works to just keep it simple and don't judge others.

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

The visitor continues:

Mr Frank, even though your views technically don't differ from your denomination, if what you are telling me is truth, you are quite far from what official SDA preaches and promotes. It seems like you are not true SDA and I hope you stay that way :) This is only an observation :)

Thanks for being Frank!!!

_____

I responded:

I thought you already read my web site. :-) I would have thought you knew I wasn't official SDA :-) I consider myself true SDA! My views differ significantly, if you dig beneath the surface.

_____

Are you following a tradition or keeping it simple by just doing what God says?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of Iaushua (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
