Dear Brothers and Sisters in
IAUA
(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 29th day of the 3rd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi. The yearly Fall Sabbaths begin in 12 weeks and 6 days starting with Trumpets Sabbath the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Thursday, September 29th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Wednesday, September 28th). An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with what my research, and many others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar! _____ A major personal tragedy struck my family of origin this week. The personal details will remain private. This follows an ongoing series of personal tragedies in my extended family. I am reminded of how fragile life is on this world. My thoughts have become very focused on the trials increasing all around us as we begin to enter the Time of Trouble. I am reminded of how blessed I am by God with a purpose in life, which keeps me focused and involved. Many hours a week of my personal time is spent highly involved in Bible study and spreading the gospel through the internet. My employment is for a ministry whose focus is on spreading the gospel. Whatever shortcomings any of us may have in our practice and understanding, our focus is still on spreading the gospel. Lately, I have been working on a very special project at 3ABN, which I believe will be an enormous source of blessing and accelerate the spreading of the gospel. I have been working on this project for over five years. You have heard me mention this before. The project is about to reach full impact. The work of 3ABN in the spreading of the gospel has been of enormous impact thoughout the world. Yes, I am highly aware of the problems inside of 3ABN. God will continue to use us in spite of human frailties. My work in 3ABN Engineering is in the process of providing a new service to 3ABN viewers and potential viewers around the world called "Programs by Request". This service will allow anyone on the Internet to download a program to view instead of waiting for it to air. If a person saw only part of a broadcast program they can see it immediately instead of waiting for a rebroadcast. People can also send links by email for other people to see a program without waiting for it to be rebroadcast. There is a minor limitation because the download is only of Internet streaming quality and not broadcast quality. There are also other engineering artifacts on the video. This will not be a concern to most people. Direct streaming of the program is possible from this site but is not recommended due to potential problems with download speed. Look at the new web site for additional information. This new service is currently functional but only about 4000 programs have been uploaded so far. It will take months to upload all the programs. Currently, only the main 3ABN English network programs are being made available. We will translate the web site and make 3ABN Latino programs available in the future. Eventually there will be expansion for the Sonbeam children's channel, Dare to Dream channel, and other options. I am hoping 3ABN Russia will try to do something similar. I am very excited about the idea. I think this will be an awesome method to accelerate the proclamation of the Three Angels Message. Now, you don't have to depend on the 3ABN broadcast schedule. I hope these programs go viral and get spread all around the world. Imagine putting an entire series on a USB flash drive and carrying it anywhere to share. Please pray for this new service to thrive. Believe it or not there are people who are trying to stop public availability and publicity about this service. You will be shocked at one of the reasons why. It is too simple! They want a fancy interface with graphics, logos and banners so "3ABN" can be proud of it. You know what they say about "pride"? Waiting for some committe to decide how they want to portray themselves and making the changes they will eventually decide will delay the availability by months or more. There are other reasons why some will want to torpedo the project completely. I am not against later revisions to make it more presentable but to delay the immediate influence of the message is the work of the anti... well, I won't say the word I was thinking. A full public announcement of this service is going to be delayed until a politically acceptable, new, and fancy interface is created. You are welcome to use and publicize the existing simple "engineering prototype" by word of mouth. Since it will take months to upload the entire existing database of ten thousand or more programs, you are invited to request a specific series or specific episodes which are of special interest to you. These will be given priority and will likely be available within a day. Send requests to: Frank.Clark@3abn.org Beware, there are political decisions being made which could result in a loss of the entire service. I apologize, if this occurs, and pray God will guide. The work we do is for Him and the results are in His hands. I have a saying, NMPIGH (you know how we computer people love acronyms). Not My Problem, In God's Hands. We are also in the process of a complete overhaul of the videos to provide a little better quality. Again, this will take months to complete. The quality is still minimal but sufficient for free promotional purposes. Higher quality will only be available by DVD program purchase from individual ministries. The 3ABN board has made the explicit decision to commit itself to promoting the gospel supported by your donations, instead of seeking to gain funding for this project from charging for this source of material. Are you devoted to spreading the gospel? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of Iaushua (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
