Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 26^th day of the 5^th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.
The yearly Fall Sabbaths begin in 2 weeks and 6 days starting with Trumpets Sabbath the evening of the 1^st day of the 7^th month (Thursday, September 29^th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Wednesday, September 28^th).
An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with what my research, and many others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

In my attempts to share Present Truth I often encounter the idea expressed by the Laodicean church as described by our Saviour.
¹⁷ Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Revelation 3:17

We are so complacent, arrogant, and self-confident we are rich with all the truth. God has blessed us with so much truth and we don't need any more. When God's plain words of the Bible speak to us differently we find all kinds of theological excuses why we don't need to do exactly what God says. Proverbs tells us the light of truth increases.
¹⁸ But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Proverbs 4:18

We ignore God's Word and cling to past beliefs and understandings. God's prophet to the 19^th Century tells us we are to be progressing and receiving light.
If it was necessary for God's ancient people to often call to mind his dealings with them in mercy and judgment, in counsel and reproof, it is equally important that we contemplate the truths delivered to us in his word,--truth which, if heeded, will lead us to humility and submission, and obedience to God. We are to be sanctified through the truth. The word of God presents special truths for every age. The dealings of God with his people in the past should receive our careful attention. We should learn the lessons which they are designed to teach us. But we are not to rest content with them. God is leading out his people step by step. Truth is progressive. The earnest seeker will be constantly receiving light from Heaven. What is truth? should ever be our inquiry. {ST, May 26, 1881 par. 16} {2BC 1000.8}

We are to be aggressive.
Our work is clearly aggressive. Our warfare is to be directed against error and sin, not against one another. God requires us to be a strength to one another, to heal, not to destroy. We are to be constantly receiving light; and we are not to spurn the message nor the messengers by whom God shall send light to His people. {15MR 297.3} {1888 1121.3} {PC 151.2}

Even these well known words of the apostle Paul remind us we only know in part like a little child and we are to grow up and put away error.
⁹ For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
¹⁰ But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
¹¹ When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
¹² For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
I Corinthians 13:9-12

Exact obedience to all God has commanded is required.
Never, till exemplified in the sacrifice of Christ, were the justice and the love of God more strikingly displayed than in His dealings with Moses. God shut Moses out of Canaan, to teach a lesson which should never be forgotten--that He requires exact obedience, and that men are to beware of taking to themselves the glory which is due to their Maker. He could not grant the prayer of Moses that he might share the inheritance of Israel, but He did not forget or forsake His servant. The God of heaven understood the suffering that Moses had endured; He had noted every act of faithful service through those long years of conflict and trial. On the top of Pisgah, God called Moses to an inheritance infinitely more glorious than the earthly Canaan. {PP 479.2} {CC 111.3}

Do you cling to the excuse there are only ten commandments?

The success of Israel in the promised land was made dependent upon their observance of God's commandments. This instruction is for us as verily as for them. These commandments have never been abrogated, and in the day of judgment they will be brought forward as the standard by which all shall be tried. Angels of God are writing in the books of heaven our life record; and if we remain true to God, serving him with exact obedience, our faithfulness will be remembered, and will have its reward. {RH, December 9, 1909 par. 8}

Are you willing and obedient?
"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword." These words are true. Exact obedience is required, and those who say that it is not possible to live a perfect life throw upon God the imputation of injustice and untruth. {RH, February 7, 1957 par. 18} {SW, December 5, 1899 par. 13} {1MR 369.1}

Have you learned and taught self-indulgence?
Nadab and Abihu had not in their youth been trained to habits of self-control. The father's yielding disposition, his lack of firmness for right, had led him to neglect the discipline of his children. His sons had been permitted to follow inclination. Habits of self-indulgence, long cherished, obtained a hold upon them which even the responsibility of the most sacred office had not power to break. They had not been taught to respect the authority of their father, and they did not realize the necessity of exact obedience to the requirements of God. Aaron's mistaken indulgence of his sons prepared them to become the subjects of the divine judgments. {PP 360.1} {CE 227.1} {CC 100.3}

Will you bow to pressure of church leadership or peer pressure to ignore God's requirements?
Some will urge that the Lord is not so particular in his requirements; that it is not their duty to keep the Sabbath strictly at so great loss, or to place themselves where they will be brought in conflict with the laws of the land. But here is just where the test is coming, whether we will honor the law of God above the requirements of men. This is what will distinguish between those who honor God and those who dishonor him. Here is where we are to prove our loyalty. The history of God's dealings with his people in all ages shows that he demands exact obedience. {HS 216.4}
